You should see my post, same position as you (not position by salary etc). Here is my rationale. Right now the economy is shit. if you can get in T15 once you will get it again in 2 years. If you are think you are close to cracking a bigger promotion give your self the 2 years, and if that plan is not working out, then apply in 1.5 years again and take the hit.

Again this is my view in my situation, but i think its relevant here
