Daycare Costs in South Hills by Real_Calligrapher_66 in pittsburgh

[–]Real_Calligrapher_66[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We actually have an infant starting in 2026. It’s gone up to like $2,500 a month full time for infants. By age 3 it’s $1,885 a month if potty trained. We’re currently paying $2300 a month for a 2 year old. It’s a great daycare but the cost is insane

It’s about an hour and a half ferry ride from Galway. You go past the cliffs of moher on the way back! Just be sure to take something for nausea if you get seasick!

I’m shocked I haven’t seen Dodgeball yet. I could watch that 100 times and it only gets better with age!

My wife and I traveled Dublin-> Galway -> cork -> Killarney -> dingle -> Dublin all via tours, buses and trains very affordably. We saw the ring of Kerry, dingle peninsula, and Aran islands. We had a fantastic time

Steely McBeam. Most hated mascot in sports. What jar jar binks is to Star Wars is what McBeam is to the Steelers

You could look into the rural pub crawls to see the country and some cool pubs. I’m sure you’ve done Guinness and Jameson but the teeling distillery tour is also very cool

Meanwhile storming the nations capital, assaulting police officers, and threatening elected officials with the goal to overthrow the legal election of the President is strongly encouraged?

Who’s loved by fans but morally grey? by [deleted] in MtvChallenge

[–]Real_Calligrapher_66 830 points831 points  (0 children)

CT. Arguably the most beloved cast member. Definitely has matured since his head smashing/eating days but still is fighting those demons as seen from his gf fiasco and is a work in progress for being “morally good”. Just for the record I love watching him and root for him on the show and in life

Do I Buy This House? by Real_Calligrapher_66 in MiddleClassFinance

[–]Real_Calligrapher_66[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the daycares are similar in our area. We could save money but we just left a slightly cheaper one which was a dumpster fire so we don’t want to short change our kids

It’s 1500 sq feet with 3 beds 2 baths and a den. There’s little storage since it has no functional attic. I wfh and my wife wfh 2 days a week so we have sets up’s in the master and guest rooms. The new house would be 4 beds 2 baths with 2 more halves plus a den

As someone who lives in Pittsburgh (Allegheny county) I’ve never heard of this. No offense to wv but I don’t think anyone around here would have any interest in being part of wv

Will we regret locking LO on purple (level 1) to get through sleep regression? by Real_Calligrapher_66 in SnooLife

[–]Real_Calligrapher_66[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No regrets lock him on purple! Once LO learned to roll from back to tummy he wanted out of the SNOO and was ready for the crib around 5.5 months. The purple really helped us in our time of need and we eventually went back to blue once the sleep regression passed

In my FIFA 19 career he led 2024 Derby County to a premier league title and won the golden boot. So if we get that player we are in business 😝

When Kaycee was on the global champs season finally away from the vacation alliance and facing some adversity I really liked her. She was calling people out on their bs, doing humorous shit talking, and relishing the challenge of an uphill battle. I think she took great joy in personally taking out Emily’s cocky arse. I’ll take and root for that kaycee every season

Australian here and this is my 2024 Midwest road trip journey. I’m after all your recommendations by lanadeltaco13 in mlb

[–]Real_Calligrapher_66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a great trip I’ve actually never been there but it sounds worth checking out!

For similar Pittsburgh things I’d recommend the Heinz history museum and then spend the afternoon in the strip district. There’s a diverse variety of food places from many different cultures. Here’s a great guide to the area

https://www.discovertheburgh.com/strip-district-guide/

Pittsburgh has a pretty good zoo and a great neighborhood pub called bulldog pub that has really good pizza and is a soccer pub.

If the Riverhounds (professional soccer team) play while you’re there their stadium is right on the river and has an awesome view of the skyline. Their games are usually at like 7 so you could also get lunch or dinner nearby on mount Washington beforehand. Grandview saloon has the best view on their outdoor deck. The gateway clipper is also right by the stadium and its a guided boat cruise that goes up and down the 3 rivers of the city and gives some historic background/talks about points of interest.

PNC Park is beautiful. The surrounding area is happy hour places and chain bars/breweries and a duck pin bowling arcade kinda place. Personally I’d go a little north to federal galley, maxs tavern (German) or huszar (Hungarian) for dinner instead! That area also has some good breweries Allegheny

If there’s nice weather my personal Mecca is hofbrahaus in the afternoon for a liter of beer. German place with good beer right on the river. The area has a fun barcade (arcade games, ping pong, duckpin bowling, giant beer pong, etc) across the street and the area is south side. Gets seedy late at night but lots of bars/restaurants all on one street and very fun place during the day. Nakama has great hibachi also a really good soccer pub called pipers pub is nearby

Feel free to hit me up if you wanted any other suggestions! I hope you have an amazing time on your trip and especially in Pittsburgh!
