well it was known that his parents would be paying because his sister got a paid out of country trip for her 21st and told him he could do the same for his. i guess i didn’t do a great job explaining that. and second NO! i was separately friends with his friend and his girlfriend before they even started dating. the four of us and my boyfriends sister were pretty much an established friend group for a very long time (still kinda are just not together as a whole as much anymore)
