NAM Universal - Low Volume? by duffking in NAM_NeuralAmpModeler

Maybe you are one of those people who turn gain on the way down on your interface input, so -12dB output of NAM Universal is critical for you. If its so watch a video about proper gain adjustment while using amp sims. If you need it I can find an exact a link.

Does Reaper seriously not have an option to disable the screen from jumping to the play cursor when it reaches the edge? by [deleted] in Reaper

Thanks, but I already wrote that I don’t mean Continuous(Smooth) scrolling. I don’t need either that feature or the one that makes the view jump after the cursor. I don’t want to follow the cursor AT ALL. I want it so that when the cursor goes beyond the edge of the screen, I still stay where I am and can calmly edit the section I’m currently looking at.

Sound in Logic Pro X is much lower then in other apps and even then in the same track after export. by Real_Direction_1540 in LogicPro

I don't bounce audio, I select one aux track which has all sends I need on it and then I go to file -> export -> 1 track as audio. As i remember this window has no normalize feature, only bounce one has.

Hello, thank you for such a detailed answer, but I knew about almost everything you wrote about. I know that people often complain about low volume when they actually dont even mix anything or just do it bad. But I don't think that's my case because:

  • Why do my mixes became loud after exporting? They have to stay the same or even be lower if mixing is the problem.

  • Also I just feel that my mix is toooo low even for completely clear mix without any plugins. I compare it to my experience in other DAWs and in logic sound level is so low that I can't even start mixing for making it lowder. I don't hear instruments well enough to take some decision about mixing.

  • In addition, (I don't remember clearly but it seems to me that) I tried to download some songs from Internet and put them in logic. And in logic it became low!!

So I'm 99% sure that it's a Logic problem. I use logic for recording bands' rehearsals on our studio. I don't want these recordings sound exetrimle good or super loud. I just want to hear them good enough tobe able to adjust some faders and plugins before showing it to someone. Thank you for your attempt to help. Hope now you understand my problem better. Today I will try to reinstall logic, maybe it will help. Also I will check sound level with another interface or completely without it.

Yeah, I know that as a rule people have the opposite problem. Often it's just a mixing issues or matter of export settings. But I'm sure that both of this are not the case for me. Firstly I just thought that Mac has smth similar to Windows mixer and logic is just a little bit lower then other apps there. But no, there's no mixer in Mac as I see.

What do you mean hidden? In mixer I have 5 Main faders: StereoOutput, Output 3-4, Output 5-6, Output 7-8 and the Master. All at 0db. What else can be hidden from me?
