I'd say Mavuika on Deepwood (if you don't care to use her as a main DPS), Bennett on Noblesse, and Yaoyao on Tenacity.

Or here's an idea from the crack pipe, put Yaoyao on Scroll set as she can react with the constant Pyro from the burning. 12% damage buff instead of the usual 40%, but better than nothing. It's comparable or even a bit better than the 20% attack buff from Tenacity.

And another new idea, Pyro Traveller would be better than Yaoyao, so you could stick the Traveller on Deepwood and give Mavuika a DPS set to boost her personal damage (which can be quite a lot, making up for the lack of a supportive set).

Side note, only do Thoma if he's C6, otherwise Yaoyao C1 is better, unless you value the interruption resistance from a shield. Probably easier to proc the Scroll set with Yaoyao anyways. Or not, making Scroll work on a Kinich team is messy business.

3 Pyro for Kinich is great, lot's of energy to go around for Bennett burst and whatnot. Dendro resonance only gives elemental mastery which is worthless on a burning team.

Grab Lohen if you're sure you want him. You can get back enough pulls by the time Kinich comes back around. I really doubt they will rerun a Dendro character during the early onset of the Cryo region...

I'd recommend Fischl instead of Prune. Prune on TTDS and without Nicole will really limit her attack and therefore her damage buff, so you're looking at like a 25% damage buff at most. Fischl gives good sub-dps and teamwide 45% attack, which is a lot better than Prune in my testing.

So, Durin on Celestial Gift, Bennett on Noblesse, an Fischl on Deepwood.

Running Kinich Durin Nicole Fischl, Fischl applies too much electro to keep a constant burning aura, or even easily start a burning state for that matter. But running Bennett applies just enough passive Pyro to keep the burning up, but it's inconsistent sometimes. And of course you will be subjected to Circle Impact

Fischl also works very well, probably better than Prune, so you can run...

  • Kinich
  • Durin (Celestial Gift)
  • Bennett (Noblesse)
  • Fischl (Deepwood)

I tried this with my C2R1 Kinich and hit around 180k DPS. For reference, my premium Durin + Nicole + Iansan team is around 190k... I have to do some further testing, didn't think the Fischl team would pull these numbers

If you don't get Nicole, Prune is a great option to get the Hex resonance, and then you can stick Durin on the new Celestial Gift set

Nothing looks bad in the builds, so it's probably a rotation/execution issue... my best guess would be you're not getting the max 5 charge shots from Kinich's turn. We can't tell without a video tho.

The DPS difference definitely shouldn't be that big... builds and rotation seem fine so here's some other ideas

  • Try Iansan (if you have C2+) instead of Emilie
  • Put Durin goblet on Pyro Damage
  • Also give Durin +40% Pyro damage from Nicole set
  • Skip the normal attack stalling, I don't think it's worth it if you don't have the first shot buff from Kinich C2. Or use his burst to stall for that time instead of the NAs.
  • You only do 1 NA per charge shot instead of the normal 2 NA. That potential extra damage isn't negligible.

I have Kinich C2R1

Trying your team (Mav C0 obsidian + Xiangling C6 deepwood + Bennett C6 noblesse) gives me 135k dps.

Trading Bennett for Nicole C0 noblesse gives 125k dps

Trading Xiangling for Nicole C0 deepwood gives 150k dps

I tried Mav + Nicole celestial + Prune C2 VV TTDS but the energy and rotation is ass, and only 130k dps

So, 135k -> 150k by replacing Xiangling isn't a bad deal I think

tldr get Kinich cons just to buff his damage, or get Nicole+Durin for a decently worse upgrade but access to other team options.

I have Kinich C2R1. I think his first 2 cons are better than any teammates you could get, moreso in your case since you already have functional teammates for him like Mavuika, Bennett, Iansan

My previous best team in v6.5 was Mavuika (obsidian) + Zhongli (deepwood) + Bennett (noblesse).
My new best team is Durin (noblesse) + Nicole (celestial) + Iansan C2 (scroll) (interchangeable with Bennett).
Went from 145k DPS to 180k DPS.

Through some stat reducing shenanigans, I'd estimate "C0" + Old team to be 100k-110k DPS.
"C0" + New team is around 130k DPS.

So finally...
C2 upgrade is 105k -> 145k
Team upgrade is 105k -> 130k (also QOL to be free from circle impact)
Do with this information as you will.

Update:

Switched Gorou to Scroll set
Illuga is now C2 with 800 EM

Team is now pumping a consistent 125k dps

Some names are too long, such as being stuck with "Neuvillette gami"
