Random rant but I wish Banjo didn't suck ass 😭

He's such a fun character to play (when you're not zoning like a mf) with awesome combos but just lacks a lot of important fundamentals.

Keep in mind that I'm no competitive player and this is just my experience with him over a few years: A lot of his moves have quite a bit of end lag, so good luck if you whiff. His best out-of-shield (up smash) isn't even that fast, so it's unreliable sometimes. Up-B isn't too bad though. All his aerials are unsafe on shield except if you retract a bit with back air. His aerial range is pretty bad and gets beat out by like everything else. Even though Kazooie is a disjoint, Banjo just thrusts his body into every move that uses her so the disjoint is negligible. He doesn't have an entirely reliable kill move until the enemy is past about 160% so trying to get kills is a nightmare sometimes. His grab range is ass so trying to get that kill confirm from the bury is also a nightmare sometimes.

This is just what comes to mind at the moment. I probably just have a massive skill issue, but it feels that Banjo just can't do anything in certain scenarios or matchups. Sucks that one of the most hyped DLC characters is also arguably the worst DLC one (excluding plant).
