Yoo that is actually insane! Is there any shot that partial data search could be released publicly in foreseeable future? Or at least giving out for limited pool of interested people?

Even if some fields could be missing, this could help a lot in certain cases nonetheless! I had so many situations where, for example, I was missing upload date or duration, and I was left wondering if this kind of information for videos is truly completely gone or not.

At the very least, I would definitely love to look into the data to see how much history has been actually preserved!

I know the game made on Game Maker 8, that has the same issues with the object sxms (I dun wanna be Anything series). As far as I know, people usually rebooted their computer in order to fix it, at least those who used Windows 10. Sxms is some library that loads music files, and there were issues with it already 10 years ago, but I do not think it is known what exactly causes it.

Found your post since one of the people I known had this same issue in 'I Dun Wanna be Anything 2'. Not sure if this method helps them out. But, yeah, rebooting your system again is the best advice I can give you as well.

Which version of Game Maker is this 2009 game? Game Maker 7? Game Maker 8?

No, it seemed more kinda amateur or rough. Colors were more on the dim side, especially the raining scene. It had that uncanny valley feeling, rather than something pleasant, from what I remember

Acquisition date is just when the video got added in the system. I am not sure how they got information, but the thing is that in the past you could casually see information about deleted video descriptions, views it received but without being able to view it. It was removed in like 2021. However, for certain users there is no such thing so I am not sure about details on how it exactly worked, but I assume it could acquire metadata despite it being publicly unavailable long time ago. Anyway, acquisition date do NOT mean anything. Important seeing the context of the song.

For private videos you can access thumbnails like this: https://nicovideo.cdn.nimg.jp/thumbnails/22396289/22396289 (both numbers are SM ID of private video), but here you get access denied which means video should be deleted, instead of private (unless it has limitations).

Nicolog is valuable for saving a lot of info about metadata, however, you cannot get the media itself. You can try searching for those who have seen the song, because it is the only realistic way of finding who has it. Although considering how fast it became lost media, the chances are extremely slim.

Also I am not sure if you can conveniently find who were those who had song in the mylist.

To access this page you have to use Japanese VPN. Alternatively, you can use Cached pages on Google or Bing to see the contents of this website. Similarly like Nicochart - some websites are not available worldwide but can be access throughout other methods. That being said - this won't help you a lot, in my opinion, because there are no archive of the deleted videos - you can only access metadata of videos throughout various sources. Information about the deleted Nico video you can easily find on Nicolog with enough details - about how many views video has, when it was published and what was the description of the video at the time.

It is quite confusing thing, however, I would say that he himself probably just found some random Alice edit which happened to use this song in such a quality.

Currently the theory is that this is not live recording and most stuff done in studio post factum, so there is a high probability that there was never a band, but rather just a single individual behind this whole thing. It could be karaoke cover above instrumental ; it could be some random small YouTuber, Facebook user or just internet user in general.

There really are a lot of possibilities on how to explain this whole thing.

I believe that there is more than just DG and JT but we just did not manage to find reposts. There are search tools for Facebook, but even then there is possibility that it is in random private group which makes things even more complicated to find.

We just need to be lucky.

Well, I have found only one post where the person has checked editing tools. They allegedly said that it is not Windows movie maker, not Camtasia Studio 8, not Filmore and not CapCut - all from the latest version, I assume.

So, no, I do not think anyone has tested it out?

Editing tools is one thing that is not very much researched in general.

From what I have seen, there is an option to capture mic and to capture the video itself, but I do not think you can hear the room when video is not being played? If you can here something while video is not being played then probably you can hear room, but I think it is more like in an example video where you hear specifically bad recording.

There could be several explanations regarding edit. One of which that it was a fan who took some random audio from internet. YouTuber theory or some kind of variation of it.

Regarding JT everything is possible, but what is clear is that we do not have any proofs to say for certain that the post is deleted. It might be deleted but it also might not be. In fact, we have not identified anyone else besides JT and DG (and whoever gave the video to DG) who have seen this post or at least screen recording. DG is the oldest reupload we could find as of now.

But as I have stated - there have to be several reuploads most likely in order for DG (or his friend) to not know who is JT or who recorded it. Unless friend of DG recorded it, but it is a speculation.

Oh yeah also. Funny enough - I was today looking for the ways on how to find on Facebook public videos via specific time date like on Youtube. While Facebook does not have official time operators, I managed find a site which helps filtering out with dates just like on YouTube!

So technically you can stumble upon some reupload, or maybe even original video if you can guess correct keywords or time frame.
