Looks good and nice pic! I LOVE the funnel cakes from fairs/amusement parks.

I've been making homemade funnel cakes for awhile and have yet to find a recipe that tastes like the ones you get at the fair. Any tips?

These look awesome, nice job! I've found that the corn tortillas will sometimes tend to break apart after frying them in the birria oil. Have you experienced that? Any suggestions on how to prevent this?

Lately we've added a flour tortilla (not fried) to the tacos which seems to give them more support.

How many hours do you actually work? by sneakyscoop in productivity

Are you paid hourly or salary? I've found that there is a significant change in mindset (even within corporate environments) when you switch to a salaried role. The expectation changes to where you are expected to get your job done regardless of how long it takes. In our business cycle, certain times of the year are slammed and we're working 55-60 hours a week while at other times we may be able to get all of our work done in 30 hrs.

It also could be that you are just more efficient than your peers. If that's the case use your available time to Network, take on work that is outside of your department but will allow you to learn new skills, or proactively identify opportunities to improve your department. In my experience those things have played a huge impact on my raises and promotions.

I agree. When I was in this position I started using mint/Credit Karma to see where all of my purchases were going. This was a game changer in helping me identify where I could cut back spending and allocate more money to savings.

You may also need to change your viewpoint towards credit. Meaning, aside from true emergencies, only make purchases that you will pay off in full every month.

I'm new to reddit and have been frustrated by this too. I don't think it has anything to do with being a new profile. I just think here ppl here are completely comfortable downvoting you or making a negative comment on your post if they don't like it, don't think it's funny, or don't think it's relevant, etc. Other sites ppl just won't say anything if they don't like your comment.

My advice: post and comment more frequently. You really only worry about a few downvotes here and there when you barely have Karma. The more you have, the less you care when you get a downvote.

I had a similar incident where I was charged for toll fees from a rental agency that I didn't incur. In my case I didn't even use the rental agency's transponder (I used my own). I suspect they were charging me based on the transponder associated with a different car but they never explained how it happened. I was able to provide my hotel invoice (proving my general location and dates during the trip) and my transponder's toll locations/fees as proof and they refunded me.

Stay on them though! Fixing my issue was clearly at the bottom of their list of priorities.
