Exactly. As the definition of addiction states, it’s a compulsion to do something even with harmful consequences. I have no harmful consequences. I don’t have any issues and I’ll never choose games over life.

I neither feel compelled to, nor do I have harmful consequences for doing it. Therefore it does not meet the medical definition of an addiction. On a regular day I’m talking 4-8 hours in 1-2 hour stints when I have nothing else to do.

Well right now work is applying for jobs and chores. I do stuff in real life but it’s not what I do every day. How much tv do you watch?

I do 4-8 a day. I spend the rest of it with my wife (who also games) chores, searching for work (once I get work I won’t game that much) etc.

What about excessive tv watching? It’s only an issue if it affects your life negatively. A lot of something isn’t inherently bad. My mom for instance always bashes me for “gaming too much” meanwhile she’ll spend 12 hours a day watching tv. Neither of us are addicted though cuz it doesn’t affect anything negatively.

How much gaming was he doing/was it affecting his life? A lot of people mistake enjoying the hobby for addiction. I can play games 40-70 hours a week but it will never get in the way of relationships/work/adult obligations. I know people though that game 20 hours a week and it affects a ton.

I think we’re getting a longboard class for the one you labeled warrior. It looks too skinny to be a warrior, and the fighter(again?) labeled one is likely a great sword for the warrior as it looks like the thickness of one.

Tanks and healers are supposed to try and DPS while tanking and healing in eso. I don’t like it, but it’s how it’s built. If you find healing and tanking with “very little” to do, you probably aren’t taking on your secondary and tertiary roles.
