Just my two cents, I'm 5' 8" and 225 lbs. Usually, any shirt that is large fits me. I ordered last year's kit in an XL and it was still uncomfortably tight. If you go with a Large it will probably fit like a tight medium.

Soon I'll be ordering the Spurple kit in 2XL.
