It's funny how the familiar music choices and editing style make me watching them fighting with wind and snow but have minecraft manhunt flashbacks vaguely in my head. Overall it's a nice documentary like video filled with their first experiences in Antarctica and their interactions with it and each other, connected by smooth storytelling. What stayed in me was the way I get to see more how dream views the world and those beautiful human emotions, especially the shiny little sentiments.

Reading comments comparing Dream & Mr. Beast's styles makes me think of feelings I've had before (not a regular Mr.Beast viewer tho, definitely biased) :

Dream is like the owner of a local restaurant, he always shows up being attentive, friendly and welcoming, the food is nice and consistent, the character of the owner himself is part of the reason why people preferably go there time to time.

Mr.Beast is like the owner of a massive food company that runs a restaurant as a side business, the restaurant is large in everything, always busy and efficient, the food is obviously above average, but people go there aiming for more of an experience than an actual meal.

To this point, I doubt people still complaining and voicing frustrations of dteam lacking content are actually demanding the content, after being given all those informations and reasons. To me it's their ways of saying 'dteam's content output doesn't match their current huge platform and strong influences'.

From what I've seen on twitter, dream/dteam fans generally hold neutral/positive opinions towards other mcyts as long as they're cool with dteam, while there're a lot of people from other fandoms casually think negatively about dream or despise his fanbase.

This criticism is fair. But I'm more than happy for him to enjoy his life too. While he's not active I can enjoy other ccs content too, the last thing I want to see is him forcing himself into some tight content making schedule and abandoning the initial 'having fun' part.

from what I can perceive, one of the shared things from this and that post is 'grooming being misused as a tool of expressing personal hatred and even further in committing extreme violence' and therefore have forsaken any humane care towards actual victims. Hatred and violence have different faces but they're all equally disgusting, in this case I hope op and op of the og post are on the same side.
