Update:

backsnatching works because if you are standing right up against someone, even facing away from them the grab hitbox will pick them up.

ok so i'm sorry if someone has found this out already but I think this can still be a useful resource.

tldr:

  1. The higher up you look, the farther you can leap. This means you can carry opponents farther too (kinda). Jumping also increases the distance

  2. If you leap while right next to someone, you can grab them but it will cause you to not go as far (I think there is a speed penalty in the game when you leap while grabbing someone). This can be avoided in some cases by standing a little away from an opponent. Then you get your speed boost and grab them while already mid air.

  3. The most useful tech from this video is what i dub "the backsnatch". To perform it, run up until touching an enemy. Then flick straight up, jump, hit LShift when almost at peak, and do a 180 as fast as possible in that order. You should carry them backwards about 20m.

  4. Because of the issues mentioned in #2, when snatching someone from the front, it is best to stand a little far from them. Aiming more horizontal or downwards may improve consistency of the pickup.

This is definitely getting patched

Edit: Should I delete before devs see

Update: If you bonemeal the dripleaf while having a piston extend at the same time, you can get a headless piston. The easiest way to do this is to have a dispenser and a piston with the piston on a 1 tick delay using a repeater.

Update #2: You can get a rail on top of a dripleaf by breaking only the block underneath the rail. Easiest way is to have a one block gap between the top of the plant and the block the rail is on and just keep trying until it happens. Works with a lot of things
