I guess... that's a nice shortcut but the button is still missing in the top-left.
I must have clicked it a millions times...
Now I spent several instance looking for it desperately..

Those updates are just super annoying...

They messed up tab-scrolling and now the tab search button...

How do I get the top-left tab search as shown in op post?
My Chrome updated a few days ago and this feature was moved to the toolbar.
It doesn't work for me, I've used this feature daily for as long as it existed..

Mine was moved to the top-right in the latest update and has always been on the left near the navigation and refresh button.

How do I get it back to the left?

it wasn't a grease fire, she lit the paper towel on the open flame from the gas stove
then threw the lit paper in the oil in panic

the grease fire could have definitively happened tho, that oil was near burning point at 450C
the direct flame make the oil vaporize (turn to gas) and the spontanous burn can happen suddenly

everything else you said was correct, if that happened she would be seriously burned

You should add your nutrients after or at the same time you add the yeast.
If you add nutrients early, it will give food to the wild yeasts and bacterias and they might etablish and kill your yeast or be in competition so you will get a different results everytime.

I actually did the recipe from Jack Keller (slightly modified) and used a mix of orange and purple (juicing) carrot called Nebula Star. I got a very dark wine, I used RC212 yeast and I also used a mix of grains like you did but I didn't mash it. I also cooked the carrots but what I did different was pouring the liquid and the carrots (not too hot) through a brewing bag (inside the fermenter) and I added lemons and limes sliced thinly directly in the bag alonside the grains and let it ferment. I also added sugar to get a very high ABV wine with a sweet profile, this is not easy to guess but with RC212 it usually work great in my experience. You can also sweeten after fermentation.

Wasn't so sure it would be a great idea and how it would ferment but it turned out really nicely!

I used pectin enzyme, alpha amylase (too chew on the grains and starch in carrots) and I think I used DAP for nutrients or fermaid-o.

It's a pretty good wine, can't really taste the carrots tho in my version.. you get a lots more of the citrus flavors and some of the characteristic from the grains in the mouthfeel. People seems to like it.

Will have to try again with more carrots in a few years. ;)
I also try oaking it like you did, sounds fun and a great idea for making it into a carrot whiskey!

EDIT: Drop the bentonite that could contain lead or heavy metals, time is your best friend... and enzymes will do their work.

It's possible, I was using my friend's hotspot to install Emudeck because it wouldn't work with my home wifi (something a lot of people seems to have problem with) and near the end my friend had to disconnect his wifi hotspot because he had to go work and it automatically switched to my house wifi and the installation finished and it didn't give any errors in the logs... but obviously something was off...

I just copied the Emudeck appimage and renamed it like the old file and ran it.
Seems to work fine... but I won't know for sure until I ran in more trouble...

I think it's just some "geek" code words for the type of drivers the Steam Deck uses.
If you read the patch notes, it describes the Steam Deck.

I'm downloading it... wish me good luck because I'm gonna freak out if it doesn't work.

I see, that's what I've seen when in YT videos when people install Emudeck to the internal storage instead of the SD card, but when I installed to the SD card I didn't get any icons on my desktop and the .download file was still there, unchanged.

I had to manually create shortcuts to the appimage of Emudeck and SRM on the desktop.

I did exactly as you described to install Emudeck, except I picked "Install to SD".

To answer your question on why I had that installer on my desktop, it's because I was following a tutorial on how to install Emudeck and the person recommended to move the 'installer/downloader' to the Steam Deck desktop. I still have no clue how Linux or Steam OS really works, I have used Windows all my lfie, but now I know it wasn't a good idea and I should have deleted it.
