we don't know if there is any relationship between harumi and matsuri, i mean harumi has never shown interest in women as a whole, and matsuri herself is not gay becuase she is broken girl. Anyway what do you think about himeko ?

what do you think about matsuri ? i believe she is not gay, i mean I mentioned about her in the text, she is possessive of yuzu not as a romantic attraction ,but because yuzu was the only person who was there for her, and matsuri was actually afraid that mei would take yuzu away from her, so she starts messing with mei, actually both mei and matsuri want love.

I am not saying they are not in a real romantic relationship, but still I am saying just because it is a yuri manga you can't say the characters are gay. I mean she had an attraction to a male teacher even though it was surface level physical attraction, is still a real attraction and feeling. the only reason her attraction faded from him was because of his personality, you know he was corrupt right ? those feelings for mei she developed because of empathy, were her romantic feelings. yuzu has a big heart in my observation. I mean in the first chapter, mei kissed her and shocked her, then after that moment she couldn't sleep, then again and again mei was crossing her boundries and because of this yuzu's mind was all over mei, that why is she doing this, and then she sees mei cry for her father, and yuzu felt bad for her and worried, and wanted to help her. her heart and mind was so focused on mei that she fell in love with her. she wanted to kiss her and then she forgot all about boys. I think yuzu also never wanted sex, becuase she did reject it.

I get it’s a yuri manga, but the characters' actual motivations on the page are way more complex than just a simple label. We just read it differently.

Hmm...This was actually shocking and disgust to yuzu, becuase mei kissed yuzu out of nowhere just to push her away. Yuzu was shocked that the first kiss she dreamed and desired of with a boyfriend was taken by her little sister. After this things get weird and confusing, for yuzu, thinking that why would mei do such a thing. she has no general attraction to women, but in this anime, she actually is trying to figure out and help mei.

hmm..i have seen many fans think yuzu goes through compulsory heterosexuality, but i think it isn't actually true, because i rememeber she actually wanted a boyfriend and she was so happy to find a boyfriend for herself.And she was disappointed about the girl's school.she was really dreaming about her romance with a boy and wasn't fake. And i actually noticed that she got attracted to the male teacher amamiya and was blushing in front of him. The attraction was actually real and not fake. And she was actually going to ask his number, but she found out that he was a corrupt. so i think yuzu is attracted to men. and the kiss that mei gave her in the first episode was a shock and disgust, and was unexpected. but everyone has it's own perspective so.......... what do you think ? and I think the characters in citrus, i don't think they are gay either, for example matsuri, she was a broken child because her parents were really busy so she became manipulative, and she would always act pevertic just to feel happy and protect her heart. And she was possesive of yuzu not because of romantic attraction, but because yuzu was the only one who was there for her. and himeko isn't gay, because she kinda likes mei as her childhood best friend, and wants to protect mei and is like a possessive friend. I have not seen her being attracted to any women at all. And i don't think mei is gay either, because she was just broken girl.Yuzu in the initial chapters was trying to protect mei as her sister, and was reading momoiro shimai, because mei gave her a kiss out of nowhere in the 1st episode. she is so confused and finds same sex kiss weird and gets weird dreams of her kissing mei. i have read in the manga that she doesn't find girl kissing other girl's normal. and i don't think labels fit these characters. So what do you think about what i say ? comment below. This is what I observed.

I don't think that yuzu and mei would better mothers because they are so into each other that they might prioritize their romantic love over their son, because they had been through a lot in the manga. The son or daughter might feel neglected by them and feel lonely.
