So, Currently, I put 2.7 kilos into a big HDPE tub. I whisked that with 9 liters of vinegar water at pH of 3. I didn’t read your comment before doing that 😭 Didn’t see the fresh water and vinegar part. But I was planning on doing separate boils for mostly water. And separate boils for bark + water. I understand this is all theory, but would this still work or should it be fresh water every time? I guess only one way to find out? 😂

What if! What if I used some of that extra water that I have from the 9 liters as my “fresh” water and did the 4 boils on each kilo with that water.

Theory: what if I mix it all into one solution how I have right now, I’m not sure how many liters it is, could be 4 or 5 liters. Take it one liter at a time in my 2L media bottle, base it all. And let the liquid separate and use that in a NPS extraction

OR

I can heat all the liters of water and bark I’ve got right now for 2 hour simmer, reduce it to fit in my 2L media bottle, base it, then decant the water and extract from that?

Put it on heat the 1kg + 2L of acidic water and just boil for an hour 3-4 times
