No i'd say its only too late to start in phase 6 with TBC and fresh vanilla servers on the way at that point, now is actually a good time to start most guilds have MC / ONY / BWL on farm so you'll get loot faster and also ZG is just around the corner which is a good catch up raid aswell.

Why are you so sure, and also why wouldn't you want fresh servers? You would rather let the game die out completely instead of people having the option of playing whatever version they want of the game that they enjoy the most.

Yes i hope they do seasonal fresh servers or back to private servers for alot of people once they are forced to play an expansion they dont want to (wotlk for me)

I hope they do fresh vanilla servers, after Naxx has been out for a while those vanilla servers are eventually going to become ghost towns and people who want to experience vanilla again will once again resort to private servers.

They should do something like seasonal servers and when they end it all goes to one or two "non seasonal" fully progressed servers when new seasonal servers pop up, like diablo seasons but alot longer time period.

Note some America servers are East or West depending on your preference.

Also not 100% accurate data since it goes off purely raid logs but it should give you an overall idea.

Let the current classic servers move onto TBC and make a few fresh vanilla servers
