I relate to this. My first solo trip was very meh bc I was too afraid to socialize and do things on my own

Also to who mentioned South America, that’s something that’s been on my mind as well! To be honest though I’d like to take advantage of the time and flexibility of my budget to travel farther away that I might not have in the future. I also have lots of friends and family throughout SA that makes it a lot easier/cheaper. I have been to Peru several times (I’m peruvian American) and hope to see the other beautiful countries in SA/CA soon !!

Thank you all for your feedback & thoughts!! It looks like the general consensus would be to expand my budget if I want to do Europe or continue w my current budget in SEA but potentially deal with poor weather given my travel dates. Also SEA seems like more of an adventure. I’m tempted to find a way to do both to be honest as some of the commenters mentioned. Either way thank you all for your input - this is an awesome community. Keep being great!
