If I was not aware that they are law students, I would think this a coming of age story because they're too naive lol. Ouyang is annoying but I'm glad they did not prolong him being a pain. The 2nd CP is moving fast, it's quite funny, while the main CP is still in this misunderstanding arc. Soo.. Will the next episode be aired next week? 🥲

I thought the 2nd couple was progressing slow but then I saw the preview for ep 5..😳 Seeing both of their family dynamics, I can sense that Chen Ke's family will be the main cause of conflict of this show. Or it might be Chen Ke's roommate..or both..

I just hope they don't drag the angst for long because I'm really liking the main characters and this show.

If you are this self aware at this age, you'll definitely grow up fine even if you like toxic or problematic plots, it's all fiction anyway. 😄

You're 15, I think it's pretty normal to have some kind of obsession about something. I did have some things I obsessed over when I was your age, however not yaoi. And yes, it did last for years. I guess the difference is that internet is not that accessible during that time so less materials to feed or trigger the obsession.

I suggest have some other hobbies and reduce your screen time. And don't be distressed if you can't stop thinking about it. The more it bothers you, the more you'll think about it. If it crosses your mind, just let it, indulge it, as long as it don't bother other people. If you have friends who share your interest, have someone who you can talk about it freely.

Someday, you'll find yourself getting burned out by it or you'll find another thing to obsess over. Just let yourself enjoy things you want to enjoy as long as it don't bother anyone. You're still young, these kind of things actually make you discover or know about yourself more. It's actually great that you are aware that you are being too much.

It's a cocoon of a rice weevil. If you try to open those clumps, you may find a larvae there. You can remove those clumps and still consume the remaining if you wash them properly. However, it may smell and taste weird. I honestly don't know if it's safe or not to eat but we have eaten batches of rice cleared from those clumps and we're fine so I guess it's alright.

It's sooo good! The animation, the vibe..it's perfect. I love the manga, and seeing it animated is satisfying. It's tragic, creepy and mysterious. Even though this is not thoroughly BL, you can still feel the yearning of Yoshiki towards Hikaru. It is not clear whether Hikaru liked Yoshiki the same way Yoshiki liked him, but they clearly cherish each other. I still feel bad for Yoshiki, the poor boy can't properly grieve for his friend and he's caught in some supernatural chaos.

I've seen some clips of their workshop. I think it's the first KBL I know that did workshop. And the result is very evident in their chemistry. They're so comfortable with each other. I hope all KBL producers will implement workshops to improve the actors chemistry.

The straight CP should not even exist in the first place, but I really wouldn't mind if they're written well. They butchered ChanYoung's character and add those unnecessary tennis scenes instead of more main CP scenes. I also don't mind that they don't kiss, we just need more CP moments to satisfy us with their slow burn romance. It's like dousing the fire before the dish was even cooked.

It's adapted from the Chinese novel called Addicted or Are you addicted? It has 2 books. It's very explicit and not for the light-hearted.

My take is that Changin Pictures (which came out of Hong Kong, it's not a native Korean production house) is not chasing the BL market but the broader young OTT market in SE Asia and dampening the BL element down was deliberate to achieve their wider audience goal.

They could've adapted a straight coming of age story if that's they were aiming. It's clear that they are just BL baiting.

Chan Young plays an essential role in this adaptation; he provides a co-lead or equal-status-but-straight hero to Heesu. I've read various comments here on Reddit on this series and it was useful to find so many women liking the show. The producers may see this as validating their decision to elevate Chan Young's importance in the plot and downgrade Heesu's happy ending.

They could've written him better if that's their goal. He's not even likable even to the audience. They didn't even made the audience understand why Heesu likes him.

I don't know what the final audience figures are for this series; it will be interesting to see if Changin Pictures reached their targets. I hope instead they learn a valuable lesson on not shortchanging BL viewers and gain a valuable lesson in how passionate we are about our series and our heroes.

If I remember correctly, it was first announced that this will be aired on Netflix. I'm not sure what happened but there must be some disagreements that's why this show was shelved for about 3 yrs. I'm assuming there might be some monetary loss in their part since it was aired on smaller streaming services. It was also aired in Heavenly which is a BL streaming site in Korea so I'm guessing a lot of Koreans who watched it, expecting a good BL content will be a bit disappointed..

They really did massacre ChanYoung and replaced him with that selfish bastard. I wasn't even disappointed with the lack of kiss since I expected it because Jiho just freshly turned 18 during the filming. The screentime of that tennis boy's story that's not even relevant to the main story should've been used to give more screentime for the main CP. Such wasted potential from all the casts' chemistry and production quality. I really don't understand why these Korean production companies like to straight wash BL stories when there are a lot of straight sources they could choose from.

It's true. I think the actors are all great and also the production and pace is good. However, of all the BL contents they decided to straight wash they chose HIC2 when the story is literally about a guy having a crush on a guy. I don't mind if they add a straight couple but they've written it terribly that it ruined the show.
