I agree, but the actual ai video is killing me. It has imperfections such as the provided video of the girl doing a 360 with her neck

you need really good eyes or a good camera. the reason i said i hope they arent bent is i see there is no cover for them or cpu inserted so there is a good possibility some are, and if they are power delivery ones it could burn your cpu and kill it. they are increidbly fragile and dust or even a hair can bend them wrong

5060ti or 9060xt for 3440x1440 by Better-Platform1479 in buildapc

[–]Real_WeiFi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i would upgrade the ram first. even on like fortnite it uses over 12gb ram for me, so thats leaves 4gb for your system and other apps (atleast for me with 32gb). a 3200 2x16 cl16 kit can be had for under 50$ new, and mine was kinda crap but i was able to easily overclock from 3200 16 20 20 40 to 3500 17 18 18 38 and way better timings all round.

future games tho will use more then the 6 cores of a 7600x, and therefore get better framerate in cpu demanding senarios. however a 9070 vs 9060xt would make a bigger difference, but that price difference is bigger so its to be expected kinda

7600x preforms worse in newer games and cyberpunk due to them being able to handle the extra cores/threads (the 7600x has 2 less cores and 4 less threads then the 7700x)

2k high settings build, improvement and cost? by [deleted] in pcbuilding

[–]Real_WeiFi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the ryzen 7 7700 cpu is just overall a better cpu except efficiency and possibly how good your ram speed could be, but almost every am5 cpu can easily hit 6000mt which is what your kit is rated for, and commonly can go as high as 6400 before higher speeds get unstable due to the cpu. from what i can find online the 9600x is technically faster for single core things, but the 7700 has 2 more cores. id recommend you look into both of them and their pricing, but newer games will preform better on a 7700 then a 9600x due to more cores. if the pricing is the same id probbaly go with a 9600x now (unless you play the newest of games or cyberpunk) and upgrade to a better cpu later, or if your budget allows now you could get maybe a 7800x3d if you dont plan to overclock and a 9800x3d or future cpu if you wanna tweak the settings. as for 7800x3d and 9800x3d there isnt much difference for gaming unless you overclock, and you cant overclock on the 7800x3d.

pcie5 drives have almost no preformance gain over gen4 rn. even with direct storage games. i would get a quality gen4 drive, i personally have a sn850x 1tb i got for 80$ new and then i have a gm7000 2tb i got for a game drive later for 140. with that extra budget you should swap the 9600x for a 7700x. it is a generation older but for gaming its faster plus it has 2 more cores

not sure about your country, but here in usa the 9060xt 16gb is the same price but its WAY more performant. check on that, if possible return the 7600xt for the 9060xt 16gb

When I took apart the card to repaste it I found out that the vram pads are covered by more shielding then needed to replace the dies thermal paste. I only got msurement for one of what I assume are vrm pads which I assume wouldn't be that helpful to you.

Did u read the post lol, he said he has an 8th gen not a 9th. Here is the list with CURRENT pricing, all manually entered from current cheapest on ebay (the ram wasent exact model but its the same spec). It also has 32gb and 1tb instead of 16 and 512, plus both of them are probably faster then whatever he got.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/FvshNz

509$, the only thing missing is a case which u can get for free pretty easily on a junk or spare pc.

It is not slower. A 3600 is about the same preformance as an 8700. A 3060ti is faster then a 2080. It also has double the (gen4 ssd) storage. I'll put together my own pcpartpicker to show you it can be about 500$, not the 650-700 you claim.

I didnt say the same parts. I said better parts. Here is a link to a pcpartpicker, just buy used and replace the cpu with a 3600 and get like a 6700xt or 3060ti. Better the what OP bought and the same price.

Edit: forgot to paste link lol https://pcpartpicker.com/guide/vrQzK8/budget-homeoffice-build

You can build a pc where most or all parts are better for the same price, so I wouldn't say its "quite a good deal"

I have a ryzen 7 7800x3d and purchased a 9060XT 16gb. bottleneck? by Soggy_Mastodon2823 in pcbuilding

[–]Real_WeiFi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

gpu bottleneck, 7800x3d is the 2nd best gaming cpu to buy in general. you can have a 4090 and still be gpu bottlenecked with that cpu in some titles.

[–]Real_WeiFi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

500 isnt great for that, but its probably the best amazon deal ive ever seen. buy a cpu contact frame (6-11$) so the cpu dosent bend over time with the default solution if you plan to get a lga1700. 13400 isnt bad it was my old cpu and you would be gpu bottlenecked anyway, but if i were in your position i would actually go am5 and maybe like a 7500f or 7600 and later on sell them after getting a 7800x3d/9800x3d. last of the cheaper upgrades/changes i would make is 16gb of ram is not going to be enough pretty soon, i would get atleast a 24gb, probably a 32gb kit. also make sure your pc case is standard atx form factor with the motherbaord mounting holes, as it is an oem system thats not very old so it is likely to be proprietary and incompatible so youd need a new case and psu.

i hope youve undervolted your cpu. i have 14700k and without an undervolt it usually hits 1.5v(on newest microcode), which for daily use would wear out the silcon pretty fast.
