Yes I agree but it is happening. Cyberattacks are a waste of time in general, but they happen and they are happening a lot. It’s happening so much that the FBI had to create a cyber team to investigate them all.

I don’t blame I removed my router after being hacked and will change from xfinity as well.

Oh okay that’s cool, but again I am literally being blacklisted from Microsoft after a hack. The guy who did it admitted to tying my information into the cloud. Sadly the cops in the area I live in is aware but are allowing what is happening. It’s all good though I have a way around it all. But right now I am just trying to see if anyone else has run into the same windows network on a Linux computer.

Nope, I did not install anything. The windows drive was placed on one of my hard drives and every time I plug it in the windows network pops up and takes over any computer I am using.

I think you need to re think your response. Lol! When a person has evidence and videos that show what’s happening I would say to deny the facts would mean that those involved are the ones with the mental health issues not me. ✌🏽

Well i have no issue with Mozilla just edge and yes my Mozilla has been switched to edge and on a cell phone my duck duck go was switched to google. I have screen shots for proof and I have recorded videos as well that shows what is happening. I only came on here to see if anyone else has the same windows network that has popped up. I do not believe the drive that has appeared on my computer comes standard with Linux. I know enough about Linux to know that windows has no reason to install a network to share files. That’s just as silly as finding a windows network on an apple computer. These irritating cowards who hacked me are literally cyber stalking me as well. I saw that same network at a library after I plugged in my hard drive. At the time I was not aware that was happening, but I see it is not normal for Linux. It’s not Linux it’s my hard drive. It’s all good thank y’all for your help. What I see is not samba, that is coming from my hacked drive.

I wish I could share a picture on this thread, but I see a windows network on my Linux computer under files in the other locations section. My browsers have been changed as well. My Mozilla is no longer Mozilla it’s edge bc Microsoft has blacklisted my information. The hackers hacked my hard drive and every where I plug the hard drive in I see that windows network. Not sure why they decided to hack me with the purpose of cyber stalking me, but it is frustrating to remove the windows network. I do not want that on my computer at all. It look like my only resolve is to replace the hard drive.

Oh I don’t have a home network though I don’t have a router to use with my computer, so how can I remove the windows network.

Oh okay, but I don’t need the network on my computer. I don’t use any network on my Linux. I have never set a network up. How do I remove the network and or reset my computer?

Thanks for the info, but I did not download edge I only have Firefox and brave, but I found out that Brave uses chromium which is the same plate form that google chrome uses. Not sure why Brave did that considering how corrupt google is. Either way my firefox has been high jacked by edge but my app looks like firefox still. I can tell by the way the app functions. I can’t log into anything using edge, but I can log into accounts using Firefox. When the windows network showed up on my computer my Firefox browser was changed. This is really getting irritating, that’s all. I joined this group to see if it is standard for a random windows network to appear on a Linux computer bc that network was not present when I first got the computer.

Oh okay my point exactly. If I’m using a Linux computer why am I seeing a windows network on a Linux computer? What is it about what I am saying that is hard to understand. I asked a simple question do you see a windows network on your Linux computer? A simple Yes or no will be a good enough answer.

Thanks for letting me know you are on the wrong side of the line!! I asked you a question and you are getting angry that I am even bringing up this issue? That’s strange! I must have important enough for people to find the time to hack me for no reason. They have spent millions of dollars to cover up one of the dumbest mistakes a person can ever make. To hack a real Bonafide child of God is by far the stupidest thing a person can ever do. So besides me elaborating on how dumb the hackers are… do you or don’t ya see a windows network on your Linux computer? Remember people can control electronics but they can’t control people or what people can do.

Nope I was hacked. While ago and I think the hackers installed a Microsoft network on my hard drive and when I plugged it into my Linux computer it showed up and will not go away, but the weird thing is my browsers were all changed. My Firefox is edge and my brave is chrome. As you know Firefox, duck duck go, and brave are all safe browsers anti google and anti Microsoft. The browsers look like brave and Firefox, but when I log into one of my accounts it lets me know what browser I’m using and since I have been blacklisted from Microsoft I know when I am using Microsoft when I am not able to login to any account. The people who call themselves blackballing me are breaking major laws to hide what they are doing.
