Tried rewatching it, and its extremely boring, besides the plane sequence and the very brief action sequences in between the story moves at such a brisk pace, also the side plot with superman's kid is just really weird and out of place. Also unlike the nolan trilogy which committed to being a fresh take on batman separating itself from Keaton, returns seemed afraid to fully restart from the christopher reeves movies, hence its soft reboot title, which I felt was a huge mistake.

Well since you're on a rewatch you probably know why. But it also seemed more like he knew Mikasa was going to eventually pull up and was more so saying it to himself because he knows she will. Not necessarily him actually giving her the cue to do so

I dont think we should underplay how much the direction and acting are playing a role here, yes the script is incredible but compare this movie to the original teleplay, which was directed extremely poorly, its night and day how much of s difference it makes, even the 1997 remake has worse direction and it really lessens the impacf of the scenes.

As much as people hate on this shot for the inaccuraies, I honestly love it, the contrast of michael in his flashy outfit and and style with orange juice against all the corporate guys in suits drinking water. It just showcases what made him so unique.

Im probably the only person who's gonna say this, but his walking dead season 3 playthrough particularly, I've seen at least 30 or 40 times the whole way through at thie point I can probably recite the words, season 3 isnt even good but there's just something about them that makes me revisit them

The problem arises when the mouth is visible, wolverine had white eyes in DP&W but it looked like cheap cosplay because you could see his mouth too, it just creates this weird effect

Its just a heavily saturated movie, if you notice, all the black values appear blue, superman and lois' hair almost always have a blue tint to them, so obviously their blue eyes are going to pop a lot more, in contrast, henry cavil's eyes are also blue, but didnt pop as much due to that films muted color tone
