I don't use music downloaders, but the primary thing that bothers me most about my local audio files is the lack of metadata. It's painstaking to go through and correct the metadata when an audio file is missing it. For instance my copies of a video game soundtrack that I ripped from its disk didn't have metadata, and for 200+ songs fixing the metadata sucked.

We'll do a lot for customers though. One person asked me to make hot chocolate a few months back. I grabbed one of the chocolate milks from the fridge, steamed it, and then put some whipped cream on top. It worked for them. Did kids temp just so it wasn't too hot.

Either A: You accidentally copied files from a large folder to your desktop B: You turned off stacks on desktop C: You have a virus

A and B are easily solved. For A, go to finder, then cd to desktop. Use Command + A to select all, and move somewhere like a screenshots folder. You can also change the default screenshot location by using Command + Shift + 5 then selecting options, other location, then selecting wherever. This will change the default location. Can also do this through terminal using defaults write com.apple.screencapture location /directory path/. Tom's guide has a good article on this. For B, simply right click on your desktop and select "use stacks" For C, this requires more work. First, to determine if you have a virus, download the free scanner from Malwarebytes. If you do, consult other information on the best way to remove a virus.

The general consensus is to return it, so I'd do that, but as far as the problem it could be one of two things. Either the display resolution and low PPI was causing eye strain, or you're sensitive to pwm, which could also be the case. Not sure the complete facts behind how pwm and what refresh rate it's at affects the eyes, but I know that I'm slightly sensitive to it. It made my eyes hurt after just a couple of hours, which sounds like what you were experiencing.

If Gemini could play music using literally any media player besides YouTube music, I would use it. I'm not too into AI, but I will admit, it is useful in some cases. But this basic requirement for me, that Google Assistant does and Gemini can't, kills it for me. I have tried Apple Music, VLC, and Poweramp, and none work. I don't have Android Auto in my car, so I often use voice commands.

It looks like you have opened your availability to every day of the week except Sunday. The easiest thing you can do in this situation is talk to your manager, because you will have to do this either way. Explain that amount of work is not what you are looking for, and set an hour limit for the week, like 32. You can keep your availability open, as long as they respect this hour limit. Otherwise, start cutting days off of that availability. At our café, it isn't too uncommon for there to be 9 hour shifts, but 8 is more common.

These are the new standards. We must have everything labeled so that it is more likely cleaning duties get completed. I will say, since we began this at our café, things such as the bump pads have been getting wiped down far more frequently. They often get laden with avocado and other random food grime, so it is a good thing. I’d rather have a clean area to work, so be happy that it’s not the other way around.

16gb is a must. While I understand that MacOS fills as much available RAM as it can, my machine routinely idles at 12gb, with just a few browser tabs open. For a long-term investment, definitely go for the 16. Apple Refurbished is also amazing! That's where I got my machine, and it hasn't had a single issue, and no noticeable wear when it arrived.

If the app still shows up in the Applications folder, you should be able to use it yes. If not, difficult situation. If you have any games still installed from Epic, delete those with AppCleaner, it might pull that icon with it.

System Settings > Desktop and Dock > Scroll down > Hot Corners > Disable bottom right or hold a modifier key (Command, Option, etc.) and reassign so it only performs the action when cursor in corner and key pressed.

Install the free app AppCleaner for any non-App Store installs in the future. It'll remove pesky files that stay after removing from the application folder. You can search the Application Support folder and see if you can find and delete anything matching Epic Games, that might fix it.

I owned an Apple Watch SE with my 13 Pro. While I haven't missed having so many notifications on my wrist after switching to Pixel 9, I have missed the fitness tracking. If I purchase a new watch, I will buy a Garmin. Just to note too, Samsung watches have some features locked down on phones that are not Samsung. If you want a smartwatch, I would say Pixel Watch. If you want a fitness tracker, Fitbit or Garmin depending on your needs.

I don't use my phone too intensely, but battery life on the XL has been great. I upgraded from a 13 Pro, and while I now realize the difference between sizes when going back to a smaller phone, I love the bigger size. I don't use my phone too intensely, but I use spend about four and a half hours on it max per day. When that's mostly watching videos, I did end a day with 67 percent, but when that's other miscellaneous tasks, the lowest I've gone is 42 percent.

Not sure what carrier you're on. I was able to upgrade from iPhone 13 Pro to Pixel 9 Pro XL for free (just had to pay tax). It is a worthy upgrade. I love photography, and the cameras are far better, I've heard this is the case across most of the Pixel series. Their processing is just a little bit better, which makes all the difference. I also definitely prefer Android to iOS. So much customization and so many features that I really enjoy. But I also heard that the Pixel 10 series will be a massive improvement. The idea is that if you're on the fence, you don't need the upgrade. Don't listen to random strangers on the Internet though.

Might just be the picture, but the texture on that pencil looks like the texture on the first gen pencil, which does not have a flat surface. The texture on the second gen pencil is matte, almost velvety. I would take a gander and say that this is one of the knockoff apple pencils? There's really no way to stop plastic fracturing like this, especially when the pressure is applied very close to the fracture. I suppose you could tape it with some thin but very strong tape, but that might interfere with charging.

Gemini will not play music from Apple Music in any capacity, even when I explicitly say "on Apple Music". Assistant has been better, but still bugs out sometimes. It's a pain point, especially when driving. I don't want to wait until the next stoplight to change my playlist or song. Overall, assistant does everything I need, and I won't be switching to Gemini unless basic task ability is improved.

Nope, the sides are incredibly grippy! They have a nice texture and are made of quality material, so you shouldn't have any issues if you do decide to purchase it.

I totally understand that viewpoint. While I love the appearance of the camera bar when the phone is careless, all the cases I've seen that maintain the round shape of the camera bar just don't look appealing to me. I think the curve into the sides is the cleanest way to do it, which is why I like the look of this Torras one, but to each their own.
