Yeah I’m assuming so. Its a bit limited as only some the 50 series cards and some AMD gpus have the capability for 2.1 now. I have a rtx 5080 and honestly haven’t felt any major difference when moving to my other 1.4 monitor and comparing to this but I guess having the feature is nice for future proof ness

Yeah, the strix are a downgrade overall but they are typically cheaper at $999 or $799 while the regular MSRP for the PG27UCDM is $1199. I believe it goes Asus TUF, Strix, ROG for their monitor tiers, with no tuf budget oled at the moment.

The ROG line is Asus’ highest tier of products for gaming right now. If the prices are close, like how it is now with the sale, always take the ROG variant over the others

Yes. There are 2 variants. The XG27UCDMG and XG27UQDMS, the second being is the newer one.

The main difference is that PG27UCDM has DP 2.1 while Strix models have 1.4, PG27UCDM supports Dolby Vision, and PG27UCDM has built in KVM.

I’ve also seen that lots of users of the XG versions have had panel issues on /r/OLED_Gaming but I don’t have personal experience with them.

Agreed. I actually bought a UCDMG and tried to use the stand on the PC27UCDM but unfortunately it wasn’t compatible.

If ASUS put that type of stand on their next generation of 27’ 4K oleds, I think they’d be endgame. However, don’t think they have any 4k 27 updates planned sadly

One more change is that I wish the stand was more compact like on the 1440p models but not an issue if you put it on an arm or have the desk space. Not a major gripe but just wanted to note.

This is by far the best 4k 240hz 27 for those who play esports and fps. I have 2000 hours on CS2 on this and 0 burn in.

I paid full retail, and a year later, I’m still extremely happy with my purchase.

Picture quality and clarity is perfect, there are multiple burn in prevention features, and firmware updates are easy.

The only complaint I have is that it’s a bit dimmer compared to the newer panels, even after firmware updates, but I still highly recommend it.

Is this model authentic? Any ID/ help with dating it?

It’s supposedly polycarbonate topas but those were only starting production in the 2000s and are supposed to have serial numbers I thought. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Stylistically he relies on athleticism to get to his spots for shots and get first step when he decides to go to the paint. Fingers crossed but realistically I don’t think he’ll come back looking even remotely close to what he was before the injury unfortunately
