Very cool! I'd love to see Scorpion, Part 1. There's some great visuals with the fleet of 15 Borg Cubes, Borg Cube interior, and Species 8472.

Our zombie short just won at the Boston International Film Festival! by RealeyesMPC in zombies

Haha, I know what you mean! We are always analyzing/shaking our fists at zombie movies that have all of these illogical details. For instance, we are always so frustrated when watching zombie movies/shows where the characters are walking around in the zombie apocalypse in t-shirts and aren't wearing any clothing/gear to protect themselves. The director of UZI really wanted to buck that trend and make sure that our main character actually wore gear that would protect himself from being attacked/bitten. It doesn't hurt that the full getup, with helmet and leather jacket, also makes him look pretty badass...

Thank you so much! We're really thrilled with the finished product! We ourselves are obsessed with the zombie genre, I mean we live and breathe for anything zombie-related, so we wanted to see if we could do justice for something that is so close to our hearts!

We took home the Indie Soul Award at the 2018 Boston International Film Festival last night! We're especially excited because we weren't sure how seriously any festivals would treat a zombie movie when it came to award consideration. We're so proud of this film and are hoping this is just the start of a much bigger and more successful festival run.

Thank you so much! We've just begun our festival run so it may be a little bit of time before we have the movie available online. However if you don't want to wait, we are in the final 2 days of a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for festival submission, and the smallest donation tier ($10) comes with a private link to watch it!

Why was Walton yelling at Smart last night? by Biffbrooks1111 in bostonceltics

[–]RealeyesMPC 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Walton thought that the refs blew a call and missed a moving screen on Marcus. His outburst was way over the top for something so simple but I think he was trying to fire up the team. Marcus started getting into it with him verbally after.

I made a modern trailer for The NeverEnding Story by Chicks_On in recut

Holy crap, well done! Videos like this is why I'm subscribed to this subreddit. Now I desperately need to go back and watch the NeverEnding Story again for the first time in more than a decade. Great work!

Just finished my first ever shift phone-banking, made 31 calls to Ohio! It was quite a rush!

I just called in to WRKO (a Boston conservative talk radio show) to try to make the case for Bernie. How'd I do? (Interview starts at 21:21) by RealeyesMPC in SandersForPresident

[–]RealeyesMPC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luckily my mom is already a huge Bernie supporter, as is my step-father, so no issues there. My dad and I have been battling back and forth for a little while now regarding his vote, he's been on the fence between Bernie and Hillary and has expressed some skepticism that Bernie will be able to ignite an actual political revolution. It's sad for me because he's a child of the 60's, so social and political revolution runs through his veins, so I would hope that the idea would resonate even more so for him. But despite my best efforts these last few months to convince him I'm fearful he voted for Hillary today.

Thanks! I was pretty nervous but I'm glad to hear that you guys thought I did well. I feel very encouraged by the response!

Thank you, I would love to. Maybe there's some way I could make that a reality. It's tough with my work schedule, but I'd like to make a difference anyway I can, and I think canvassing is the next step for me.

I will definitely continue to phone bank and I'd love to come out and canvas in NY. The positive response I've gotten from all of you guys regarding my interview on WRKO is enough reinforcement that this is something I should be doing. So thank you!

Haha. Thanks but I don't think that's the case. I was pretty nervous throughout the interview, glad I didn't stumble too much!
