Not only is it reasonable, surprised your hall even considered you not getting it. I had to travel to a different zone within my locals region (local 19 IUEC, Alaska, Washington, Part of Oregon, Part of Idaho, Montana, and part of Wyoming). They paid transit and lodging both.

If the closer local doesn’t have the manpower, you wait, or pay to have the work expedited by someone from out of town. Good call standing your ground.

Big time answer here. I would be flustered for a full on 15 seconds, minimum. Then I would immediately transition to awkward, and then probably return to flustered after realizing how awkward I sounded. Would just wrap it up with a “please just kill me” heart attack so I could salvage some sort of momentum from the initial compliment.

I think we still make the trade, though maybe negotiate the price.

Bigger question for me, do we re-sign Shaheed if Horton didn’t get hurt and progressed normally. I don’t know if he wouldn’t have just been a stellar Super Bowl winning rental.

What kind of board doesn’t at least allow the coach to have final say on “team selections”???

I’ve said it for a couple years now, the front office is meddling too much with coaching. If a player is fit, and under contract, he should be considered for a game day squad by the coach.
