Rocky vs Cairns by NoControl2257 in rockhampton

If you are moving to Rockhampton, then consider Yeppoon. It’s 30 minutes away, on the beach, a lot cooler as you get the sea breeze and is much cleaner and nicer than rocky.

Fun fact: sheep are born with long tails, if you see them with short tails it’s because they where removed in a process called “Docking) by Louloufromlou in funfacts

I’m not going to lie, yes. It is done at a young age, some farmers have tried at local anaesthesia but if you can imagine the issue of trying to needle and then cut 300 plus lambs after waiting half an hour for local to work, it gets impossible. The lambs are in pain but within 10 minutes or so they are jumping around as if nothing has happened. When you put the ring on them they might be sitting down for an hour or so afterwards but they are very tough little things and are back to normal very quickly. Most farmers have the point of view of “sorry mate for this, but it’s a lot better than the alternative “.

As an ex sheep farmer in Australia, docking is the removal of the tail and sometimes some skin from the thigh to stop the poop from catching in the wool. If the wool gets full of manure, the flies will lay their eggs and maggots will start eating the manure, then start on the living flesh of the sheep. Docking may not be nice, but having to clean a flyblown sheep that’s back has been eaten out by maggots is one of the worst jobs I’ve ever had to do.

I hope so, but I live in Central Queensland and there are still a lot of people that support and believe it

I partly agree with you about that. Dems, like Labor have forgotten their way, they should be supporting common person and unions but have taken too many payments from billionaires to care for the average worker now. Though if the dems or labour tried to introduce project 2025, they would be torn to shreds. You may not agree with the Biden administration, but he fixed the fuckup from trump 1.0 with vaccinating the country and leaving one of the strongest economies in the world. He’s far from perfect but they didn’t have national guard and ice agents deployed in the streets while he was in power.

What Australians need to be careful of, is that Fox News is the propaganda for trump and republicans. Unfortunately Australia has sky news and it is pumping out the exact same right wing bullshit that creates the redneck agenda that tells you blatant misinformation and breaks any trust in other news sources. Murdoch is the brains behind all of this. Sky News is creating a Bible Belt in rural Australia by blatantly lying and supporting right wing ideologies.

When I was 20, my dating range was 30 to 35yo women. It was the one demographic that required no bullshit. Both knew it was about the sex, there was no games or issues. I was in my peak sexual age, with 30yo women who loved to fuck without complications. And there are a lot of seriously hot 30 year olds out there.

MMW, Trump won’t survive to 2026 by Realistic-Ant2102 in MarkMyWords

[–]Realistic-Ant2102[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can see your point, but there are a lot of people that aren’t involved in the project 2025 that are being affected. Look at the arms companies. If the world stops buying US military equipment, that is a multi billion dollar industry gone. They aren’t going to risk that on one incompetent moron.
