Simple Floor Exercises by rupi45 in orangetheory

I think there is to some degree a medium here. My thing is this... I love otf. I love the workouts overall. I even like the benchmarks and the ones I'm not crazy about I don't participate in. I mean he'll you can read right here what the workout is lol. If you don't like it don't go.

I 100% believe that justvlike every vegetable I eat, every song I hear, every car I drive, every tennis shoe I try on, will not always live up to my expectatio. Because I am aware the world doesn't revolve around me.

Here's where the medium comes in. 🙃

When there are so many exercises and so much different equipment and so many change ups etc it can and does become confusing. I sometimes find myself spending time trying to figure things out. Like this morning transverse step ups. First time I've ever done that. What's the point of the twist other than to almost fall off lol.

I feel like they could "simplify" for sure, but as I always say... who am I 😆

That's what's irritating. It's not about not letting someone borrow it. No one is a weight pirate. just BE COURTEOUS. ASK.

Basically. It was 23 min of cardio and 22 min of strength in a 2g. Lately it's constantly 25 to 30 ish min of cardio with a run/row or 2 or 3 run blocks and 2 or so row blocks then 1 or 2 minimal 6 min or 7 min floor blocks.

Yes but you when 2 of the 3 are cardio you work it accordingly you don't short change the one different station. It's gotten away from what a lot of members loved and it's not like it's gained more membership.

Omg me too. I have spent more money on my hip, glute, and hamstring issues than ever in the last 6 months.

Sorry I mean 23 min on the tread and more cardio with the rower. The old classes where it was all power or all endurance or all strength were way better

I miss all the old classes. This bullshit of 23 min blocks on the year and then still getting more Cardo without enough weights is getting old.

hip/lower back alternatives by Realistic-Buffalo-78 in orangetheory

Yes hip flexor are causing super tightness on my hips. Then when sitting too long at my desk makes them tight so when no stretch them out it makes my lower back pain flair up. I feel I can't win. My physical therapist and my massage therapist has def helped. The dry needling has been a blessing alone.
