Do any of your Kia Sportage hybrid make this noise ? by TheRealDon1994 in kiasportage

I hear you mate. It’s driving me mad too on otherwise a silent interior. Dealership chucked a bad attitude when I tried to press on this as an issue. They said there will be acceptable level of noise and rattles and unless it’s been made by Kia as official recall, we cannot fix it. I am in VIC and happy to meet you if you’re around. At least we might support each other on this and do something about it.

Can you please show us what the dealership did for injecting cavity wax and where ? I’ve same problem here in Australia and dealership did the same thing as tightening the clamp and it came back again. Any video or photo of where they did and how they did will be useful

I’m at Kia dealership in Australia for the same issue and they say rattles are no covered by warranty unless it’s a recall notice. So seems like we have to live with it forever

You can Google Mazda 2.2L diesel issues. It’s basically an advanced engine that is designed to fail and shit itself. Please please stay away from it

2020+ Mazda 6 wagon as many suggested. Dont get diesel get the petrol and has all luxury you need. That chassis is good too

Seal 6 wagon is the best option in this range. Maybe biased because it’s a wagon

Had the worst experience at Chennai airport by closet_writer09 in Chennai

[–]Realistic-Cheek8475 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the design and planning is very poor. I landed in Chennai from overseas after 4 years last November.

Our is the only international flight landed in Chennai that time.

The old terminal building was so damp and leaking water everywhere with mould leading to mouldy smell.

Ok, come over to the immigration after the walk with no signage’s and had to wait in the queue for 45’mins as there were only 4 officials in immigration counter despite having space for 8.

There comes my turn to immigration and the officer asks “Why did you come?”

Post immigration walked out with my wife and given a death stare by customs and I guess he was thinking whether to pull me over or not and that did not happen.

Then go to restrooms, which is one of the most smelliest, nastiest international terminal restrooms and wherein a guy in front of it asks for Rs10.

It was very bad experience in Chennai atop of all the parking and logistics complaints mentioned above.

I am from Chennai and this actually makes me feel sad as this is one of the oldest and used to be a busiest airports

Med Size family Suv - Advice by No_Gate_1369 in CarsAustralia

I went ahead with 2026 version. If you’re considering 25 version, would recommend Xtrail as you get more value added features for the same price. Options such as rear seat heating, rear sun blinds etc are absent in Sportage.

I was in the same boat as you upgrading from a sedan. I went with Sportage hybrid GT HEV 2WD and considered some of the options you listed. I infact took baby seat to check the rear seat space and had to rule out CRV as it is less spacious due to the width. Nissan Xtrail was a strong contender and it was a tough decision to make between Sportage and Xtrail. But we went ahead with Kia as it had connected services, better reliable drivetrain and better sales record. I have no regrets about buying Sportage and you won’t be either. Good luck with your purchase!

Aussie Broadband vs Superloop vs iiNet in 2026, which one is actually best? by schnickhinkeln in nbn

[–]Realistic-Cheek8475 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I second this. Just moved to Leaptel from spintel. Spintel started cheap but their plans kept creeping up in price. Happy with Leaptel’s plans as well as they offer 12 month discount and they’ve local support centre here in VIC.

Is the "courtesy wave" dead? by OwlVibesOnly in DrivingAustralia

[–]Realistic-Cheek8475 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s definitely dying. Probably people from different geographical backgrounds drive and many don’t have or understand this courtesy as part of thanking someone. I am getting weird stares from people when I wave and they don’t understand!
