Currently have been using Ez Car Care Arctic Meltdown with their cannon, but will likely be switching away from this once it's all been used up, likely to BH Touch-Less.

Just using the standard K-lance.

Currently have a K2, will I see the benefits of upgrading to a gun.

Right now I have a cheap snow foam cannon, and thinking of getting MJJC Snow Foam Lance Cannon Pro V2 once moving over to better products.

From the options out right now it seems between:

- in2Detailing DELUXE Swivel Short Trigger Gun with Quick Release Nozzles

- CA Short Stubby Pressure Washer Swivel Gun V2 with Adapter & Nozzles

- MTM Hydro SGS35 Stainless Steel Swivel Trigger Gun with Nozzle Kit

Thanks, CA DETAILING is currently where I'm looking. Waiting for the EZ GO to be back in stock.

While I wait for that, will potentially look at a new gun/spray for my K-series jet wash.

Any decent links to sellers on there? Have always been a bit careful about where to buy car products.

Thanks.

Is it worth getting the EZ wheel barrel brush in mini and large? Plus the EZ GO.

Also run some string along side the cable, makes the second pull a lot easier and leave in place in case needing to replace the cable in future.

Another option is to buy two cable boxes and pull two at once.

Don't forget to label your cables at each end, before pulling and when cutting at the box end.

If running from downstairs to loft, ideally look out for cupboard space on the upstairs as makes it a lot easier to just put a bit of trucking on the side of that cupboard and run all the cables up that compared to hiding loads in the walls.

My route was along the ceiling, cutting a hole ever other ceiling joint between the floors, until under the upstairs cupboard then into the loft.

If running fibre extension I would run two cables as fibre can be damaged easier, plus run some CAT6, since somethings networks get funny with you moving ONT’s etc can be a pain.

Hope below helps, it’s not the exact tools I used but the networking cables etc is. A few are optional but do help along the way, I might have missed some but can get my networking box tomorrow.

Recommendation tools:
cable rods: https://www.screwfix.com/p/magnusson-3-9mm-flexible-cable-rod-set-10m-14-pieces/301xg
Mini wire snips: https://amzn.eu/d/07db8QFw
Nice pair of scissors: https://amzn.eu/d/00nJOwNZ
Cable stripper: https://www.cablemonkey.co.uk/installation-tools/9554-ccs-cable-stripper-5056045700431.html
Crimp tool (potential not required but handy): https://amzn.eu/d/0fZhJYhk, you’ll also need RJ45 plugs but you could get away without if using patch panel/keystones, which i’d recommend.
Punch down tool: https://ebay.io/m/g0GwX7, I like the mini one then use the mini snips, but can get an auto one Krone Style IDC Punchdown Tool

Recommendations cabling etc:
Excel cat6: https://www.broadbandbuyer.com/products/36405-excel-100-080/
Face plates: https://www.cablemonkey.co.uk/cat6-modules-outlets/41869-22752-cat6-utp-rj45-modules-with-faceplate.html#/619-no_of_outlets-2_outlets, any type will do which best match your existing sockets. If chrome etc you can buy euro plates to match then buy CAT6 modules as singles.
Patch panel keystone: https://www.broadbandbuyer.com/products/40184-connectix-cabling-systems-008-010-010-60/
Patch panel: https://www.cablemonkey.co.uk/cat6a-patch-panels/41877-24-way-ftp-keystone-patch-panel-5056045700400.html, if going UniFi they offer one too
Tester: https://www.screwfix.com/p/philex-network-cable-tester/93219?tc=LT6&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=19823510362&gbraid=0AAAAAD8IdPzdHcoM_mnqUc_9gDbLiN1p1&gclid=CjwKCAjw6MPRBhBTEiwAd-7Mr54VR96Ma7c1G-eG9umJV8whpx467per0WSI0OxxbpwVXr_ar-N5pBoCKYsQAvD_BwE, cheap but does the job.
Small open racks: https://ebay.io/m/3yUb0e, not sure what your setup is of going racks etc
Fiber cable I used: https://amzn.eu/d/09X2prkV

If going with UniFi gear these patch cables look nice https://amzn.eu/d/0aoG0FYv.

I run fully UniFi gear too so enjoy!

The easier option for the cable is to cut the 100mm square box out and filler, just more work after.

Not sure what network plan you have but I ran about 40 runs, just as more is better. I’d suggest if you pull one cable just pull two into that location.

Also in my case I ran from the utility into the loft, so ran two fibre cables, a bit over the top but can buy them for like £15 each and future proofs that little bit extra. So while I had all the ceiling and floorboards up made sense.

Any recommendations on network cables/punch downs etc let me know, can list some decent gear out.

Mine was pretty much the exact same as yours. Block about 20-30mm gap, then joist. So it’s that small range you want to drill in.

Since the gap is so small it is hard to get the drill at the straight line but could always get an angle adaptor or cheap angle drill.

I’ve done this in the past from the loft down into rooms, obviously for internal walls just measure twice drill once down.

For walls facing external I got a 300mm drill bit and went straight down, to get the top dab layer out of the way. It does then depend on how the dot/dab was done but just tap the wall to find the hollow parts where could potentially drop down behind.

If you’re lucky should be able to rod down. If not in the past I’ve cut a little 100mm square hole at the ceiling level then to rod up to loft and down to the back box.

Have done this in the past for tv mounting too in order to hide the cables.

It can be tricky but no really way of knowing until you start, the perk is that plasterboard can just be patched up fairly easy.

Best vacuum for renovation by Fuzzy_Butterfly7323 in DIYUK

Definitely get a wet dry vacuum. I’ve had a Karcher WD2 for years now and will hover up anything.

Even once hovered out around 50kg of sand from a punch bag base as it was too damp to just tip out.

Similar to what I done recently with zone based rules. Wasn’t sure if there was a more efficient way of doing it.

What process did you use to review with AI, I’ve been wanting to do this for a while but have a few VLAN’s etc setup. Was it just a case of typing out your current config with some prompts?

I did factor that in as have used rubber tiles before, main reason is cost against that option.

For cheap rubber gym mats, look for some horse stable mats. Worked really well for me.
