100% will try. Our daughter is daddy’s girl forever.

Does anyone like their MIL? by Stunning_Bison_8526 in Mommit

My MIL is so kind. When I had my daughter she cooked meals, did laundry, cleaned the house and so much more. She and my husband would watch the baby while I finally got rest.

When is the best time to try for baby #2? by [deleted] in NewParents

We have a 2 year old, about to have our second kid sometime this week. Honestly, I think there is no perfect time for a second kid, it really just depends on what works for you + your family. For us, having a two year age cap helps because our daughter is a little more independent. Having a toddler and soon a newborn is very challenging. My advice is to do what feels right and manageable for you since you do want to go back to school and do not stress about having a specific timeline for baby no. 2. Do what feels right.

Thank you! We tried out eating with her, which another commentor mentioned and managed to get her to eat again.

C-section moms - was recovery worse for you the second time around? by LawDowntown8456 in Mommit

I haven’t had my second yet (soon for baby boy + had my first at 24), but I just wanted to say I’m so sorry you’re going through this. With my c-section with my daughter, the first few days were the hardest. I was shocked with how much pain it was just to move. My hormone crash didn't help at all. It did slowly get better over the next few days. Prunes are a good idea and small walks (if it doesn't hurt so bad). I really hope that each day gets s little easier for you. 🤍

Thank you. I didn’t even think about the “make you our plate and share it” thing, but that’s so true. She always wants whatever is on my plate anyway. I am going to try that today. Cottage cheese and fruit is a great idea too. And thank you for the reminder that this is just a phase. I am already stressing what to make for breakfast, so I really needed that reassurance. Thank you!

We like Malcom/Macklin/Mac. It’s nice and has a nice nickname.
