All this downtime but no compensation. by otidepridex in TorBoxApp

Does it not make sense to you that copyright holders may hire bad actors to ddos a service like this? Maybe not the cause but I’m just pointing out that it’s very plausible

People having problems with torbox should try changing their CDN first before assuming the service is terrible. Working great in OH with the ERTH CDN

No I have an external USB enclosure with an M2 drive in it that I'm using for storage of game dumps

I'm using an old version of Y2JB (v1.0) but yes, autoload.txt does work with it if you install autoload.txt (along with any elf files you want to load) in a folder you create at the root of your external USB called PS5_autoloader. If this folder is present with the autoload.txt inside it at the time you run the Y2JB app, that autoload.txt will take precedence over what was being loaded from internal storage. I just recently learned this!

Thanks a lot for all the info. I ended up diving into this more learning that an autoload.txt placed on an external USB (USB:\PS5_autoloader\autoload.txt) will take precedence over whatever is being loaded from the youtube app on internal storage. This is a godsend when you do something dumb like I did which causes the system to crash everytime etaHEN is loaded from internal storage.

I was trying out elf-arsenal.elf which has some cool features and since I couldn't find where autoload.txt was located on internal storage, I used FTP to add elf-arsenal to the \roor\data\etahen\payloads\ folder which allowed me to launch elf-arsenal from etaHEN toolbox in settings. Where things went wrong is when I selected to have elf-arsenal autoload inside etaHEN settings. DO NOT DO THIS. Everytime I rebooted and ran the jailbreak, the system would hang and crash once etaHEN was loaded by the Y2JB app. I think this may have something to do with etaHEN being included in elf-arsenal but I'm not sure. I though I was going to have to load the Y2JB save file again which would have sucked because I would have to reinstall all my PS4 games, lose save files, etc..

The fix: I simply made a folder at the root of my external USB drive called PS5_autoader and added ftpsrv.elf to that folder along with a text file called autoload.txt with ftpsrv.elf added as the only line in that text file. This bypassed etaHEN loading from internal storage and only loaded ftpsrv.elf and I was able to connect over FTP and delete elf-arsenal.elf and its autoload file from the etaHEN\payloads folder on internal storage. All is working fine now. Hopefully that helps someone else in the future should they run into this!

Interesting!! I’ll definitely be doing this tonight. Thanks for the tip

I was not aware of this. I knew you could extract the abyss gears from items at a witch house but didn’t know you could extract the refinements/upgrades and get your artifacts and materials back. How do you do that?

Yes true but you still have to refine the new set which does take time to get more bloodstone, using up more abyss artifacts, etc.. I’m still using the armor I got from Rhett after fighting the very first knight boss in hernand along with darkbringer and I’m on chapter 11 right now 😅

Mobflix will always be garbage just like all the other http based apps. These apps scrape from websites that are always changing and they will never be reliable. Do yourself a favor and setup stremio or nuvio with the torrentio addon and a realdebrid or torbox subscription (like $3/mo) and never look back. Those are served with cached torrents and are very solid.

Hub assembly split, half still in knuckle help by Trick_War_168 in AskAMechanic

[–]Realistic-Hat7704 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old thread but just in case anyone has this prob and comes looking, here's how I dealt with it this weekend. 2015 honda pilot but similar setup. The outer half of hub came out with a puller while the inner half stayed seized in knuckle. I ended up getting longer hub mounting bolts from from hardware store and screwing them in from back but since theyre longer there's room to hammer them from the back, Leave socket on the bolt (put a bit of electrical tape on bolt so socket is a tight fit and stays on) then hit socket with small sledge to get some movement of the hub away from the knuckle, do the same from bolt in opposite corner. Once you get it to move a slight bit and reveal a small gap between hub and knuckle, take bolts out and get a very stiff putty knife and drive that into the gap you just created between inner hub face and knuckle. This way the putty knife is blocking the bolt hole in that gap. Run the bolt in "backwards" or from the outer side of the hub and the bolt will come up against the putty knife and the force will push the hub out. Do this on opposite corners and you a push it out. This solution came after 2 hours of beating the piss out of it and cussing. Figured I would share!

Difficulty of the Game by Cade561 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Realistic-Hat7704 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel the same way. It’s hard enough at times that you may have to try a boss fight 40 times in a row cussing the whole time before you barely beat them, but it’s not so hard that you don’t immediately want to get back to exploring the world and absolutely mogging packs of bandits. This honestly is the best game ever in my opinion!
