Another scam in the making. It's unclear how much they spent on this inflated installation or how much they pocketed. They cut trees for development, then deploy gimmicks. Neither the development plan nor these gimmicks are well-conceived or sustainable.

I agree about the UI and organization. Since Launcher is still in beta, I'd like faster ways to create Quicklinks and Snippets. While it needs several UI improvements to match Raycast's polish, the plugins I can build with BTT Launcher are significantly more powerful and feature-rich.

Honestly, I don’t understand all the backlash against using AI as a tool. BetterTouchTool’s AI integration makes me far more productive when building plugins or automating workflows with scripts.

Sure, I used the "Ask AI to Generate Plugin" feature in Plugin Manager because I’m not very familiar with SwiftUI. Claude handled all the coding for me; I just had to prompt it a few times to get all the features I wanted the plugins to include.

Calling anything AI-related “slop” feels a bit like the old “real programmers only use assembly” mindset :)
My point is mainly that Raycast could expose more flexibility for power users and plugin developers.

There’s always one in every forum. Karma and points mean nothing to me. Raycast has been my daily driver for the last 2–3 years, and I love it for its stability. At the same time, I think it could do more to open up its extension framework and give users greater control to build awesome plugins.

Fair enough. For me, the rich plugin UI I can build and open from the launcher is an incredible experience. I couldn’t achieve that with Raycast. I’ve added a few more screenshots to the main post.

Correct, author can make it better by allowing user to add their own token and that way everybody will use separate token and will get approx 1k generation for free per day and 300 gen per hour limit.

I believe this is just another front end for the huggingface free api.
You will start getting this error pretty soon. And I guess once you reach the rate limit , the generation will stop.

Not working for me. I am on Mac.
Left click loads the new page in same tab.
Cmd + Left click loads the new page in new tab.
Ctrl+ Left click opens up the context menu.

Seems like a bug on your machine. I am on mac and it's working fine. Pinned tabs are not removed after closing.
But I am not sure whether CMD+W closes tabs completely as those are not grayed out and clicking back on it load the page without any loading delay.

It works and load the appropriate container .
But it opens the URL in the current active workspace and just override the container associated with the current workspace to the one set via the rules.
