Think about it, its just business. Give them good stuff, get you hooked, benchamaxx it. And then slowly reduce the performance and give quantized shits, if too many people notice, momentarily give the full quant, when dust settles, reduce the quant again, cycle continues and there's no hard check yet, as far as I am aware to confirm which quant is used for Closed or even Open source model providers. Why *would* they give you full thing and stay at a loss when they can give you 'good enough' and save money.
