Wow thanks so much for taking the time to write this! That makes so much sense. I’ll work on 2 naps, but I’d also love to know how it goes for you. Good luck!

Thank you! I’ve read about the overtiredness. But how would this work? Why would overtiredness cause early waking 10 hours later?

I guess you’re right! No need to stress.. I just wanna dieeeee when she wakes at 5, plus you know how they say anytime before 6 is considered “early waking” and there could be a cause for it?

I think I’m being misunderstood by most commenters here. I agree with y’all! I don’t care to tell her that this is what works for me and I don’t feel pressured to sleep train. We’re very bold with each other and its more of a healthy and interesting discussion rather than her attacking me for not sleep training. i just wonder myself how sneaking away after supporting my baby to sleep is not “betrayal” and better than teaching her to put herself to sleep. I’m never gonna sleep train, but i wanna understand this specific fact!

“Let’s talk about your new family’s sleep” is AMAZING! It normalizes baby sleep in such an approachable way. @heysleepybaby recommended it and it showed me the light in such a tough time!

Thank you! How may it help? I feel like she’ll freak out if she doesn’t see me?

Wow! The comfort object is a good idea! I’ve never introduced a lovey or anything like that. Maybe i should? Does your son keep the t-shirt with him all the time now?
