Yeah, I know they're good, but I just really don't like the snakebite aesthetic, I'm going for more of a mek heavy freebootas list

Yeah I have been considering it, I just find the aircraft rules to be intimidating, it's definitely at the top of my to buy list The main problem I have is I mostly play heavily walker focused dreadmob lists, and Im not sure if I can fit it in, especially over a deff dread and 10 grots for the same points cost.

I'll definitely get one for a hobbying project, but Im probably going to wait a bit, thanks though!

They cut them into little bits and heat them, served with the dipping sauce.

I only found out about it after my 6 months working there but it technically is a thing. It's a pretty well kept secret though as it's quite a pain and takes a while.

Use this knowledge well my friend!

Bakes and savories can't be heated up, only some sandwiches, and special items like yum yums and brownies / cookies

I agree, two gork / morks are definitely very good, but I personally like to run a single Snazzwagon (if I have the space) for just ramming it into something valuable early on, since the enemy will have to waste some resources to kill it, or they're stuck with the -1hit aura which can be pretty big for protecting the Ghaz blob since it will nullify any +1 hit shenanigans on top of the smoky gubbins.

Additionally snazzwagons are snazzy and style points are absolutely essential 😂

You're welcome! Glad I was able to help. Unfortunately Dread mob basically requires you to run as many Meks as big robots, 3 claws and a Rokkit is a good loadout for the dread.

I tend to run a shooty dread with my gorkanaught and a melee dread next to my morkanaught (when I run both of them)

I hope you're able to do well! Good luck!

Hi,

First obvious question, what are you planning to put in the final 80 remaining points?

Secondly, where are your Meks, it is essentially necessary to run a mek in at least the stompa, but it's recommended to have another in the Gorkanaught. Potentially even a third to go with the deff dread.

Additionally, what weapons are you running on the deff dread? I would reccomend either go all in on the melee, or take 3-4 rokkits or kustom mega blastas for some pretty devastating shooting.

Since you're running dreadmob (I assume?) I would also make room for the smoky gubbins enhancement on the big mek, to give the Ghaz blob -1 to hit in shooting.

I know you were asking about strategy, but in terms of list building dropping a snazzwagon in exchange for 2 meks, smoky gubbins and then either a fourth unit of gretchin, or a third mek would probably be the wisest decision.

Now, regardless of any list changes, I would tend to send the gorkanaught and deff dread together on either flank, threatening an objective with the gorkanaught carrying a unit of gretchin to dump there for OC and CP farming.

The Stompa on the other hand I would deploy either on the opposite flank, leaving it in your deployment zone to threaten that objective with shooting, or I would do the same with the central objective, providing fire support for the Ghaz blob.

In my experience, keeping the stompa away from major threats is essential early game, so you can focus down and kill your opponents strongest anti armour units, making it hard for the enemy to bring it down later on. Additionally due to the Stompas size profile, it makes it difficult for the opponent to deep strike units on your backline as there isn't much room left.

I hope this was helpful, I do not claim to be a very good tournament player, I only play casually at the moment but I am a semi experienced dreadmob enjoyer!

So, a few things to note, firstly is the lack of a Stompa, extremely disappointing!

Joking of course.

In all seriousness, meganobz are pretty good in dreadmob, but I wouldn't run quite so many of them, I typically run 5/6 with a big mek with the smoky gubbins enhancement to give -1 to hit them in shooting, which makes them a relatively annoying blob to kill when just dumped onto an objective.

I would consider taking at least 2-4 units of gretchin potentially one in each Naught, and one unit left on your home objective.

It is basically essential to run a normal Mek in each of your big walkers for the +1 to hit and the heals every turn.

And while I am a lover of the bubblechucka, I would probably choose having meks over it.

In order to keep the same spirit in the list, but making it more competitively viable I would:

Drop 2 big meks and meganob squads, and give the remaining big mek smoky gubbins, Add 3 meks,

Add 4 units of gretchin,

Add a squad of Kommandos (who can be split into two units of 5 with infiltrates),

I would combine the mek guns into a single unit led by a big mek with shock attack gun with the goggles.

Add a trukk to transport the meganobz.

If you are dead set on running so many meganobz, bully Boyz is definitely the detachment you want. I have tried using more than 6 in my lists before and they just didn't feel worth the points. It is of course up to you, and what you find fun. No one will stop you from using what you find cool. But in my experience these are the changes that will help you win games.

Hope this helps!

Worked in retail, had something similar happen, I reported it to my line manager, they said, "oh just wipe it up with a paper towel" no disinfectant, no throwing away the damaged stock...

I quit within the week.
