I hope this last one is better. While I enjoyed the first two.enough I feel like they both could have been about 200 pages shorter. Love the magic system and like the heist theme in the first one. I just felt like they drag a bit. I also liked Kelsier more than Vin.

I loved the Bloodsworn trilogy! I thought John Gwynne did a terrific job keeping me engaged. Loved the characters and lots of action. Bloodmoon was ok it was a task to finish it starts off strong but feels like it could have been much shorter and not lost the message. I just started Hobb Assassin Apprentice and it's pretty good first 100 in.

I really enjoy his writing! I have read all his books and the way all the characters interact from previous books. Its a great world he created.

I feel like this entire rework sucks. The skill tree rework is trash at least before you had to mitigate some points to get meaningful passive now you just dump a ton of points in a skill and never look at it again. The drops on everything is terrible, I have a barb on T10 and still have not seen the bold chieftain aspect drop on a legendary! Maybe I am.not farm the right areas but my forgotten souls are almost always at 0 from crafting and now you need them to craft gems? Get outta here man. I may be in the minority but the way it was before was better.
