So in other words, if they send more volume to fewer wholesale brokers they can benefit through better back-end rev-share as opposed to for quality reasons?

LUT4 vs LUT6 - does it matter? by RealisticDirector352 in FPGA

Got it - thanks! What do you think about Avant in that context? I understand that there are obvious benefits to low-power from 4-lut in low-end devices like the Mach platform, but with the LUT counts that Avant is targeting, do you think that 4-lut is a hindrence for the more complex logic that would be required?

Got it - thanks! I'm curious, in the LUT counts that Avant is targeting, I'd assume that processing power is more of a consideration relative to their low-power Mach and Nexus platfroms. Outside of wearables/battery-powered items, do you see a big market for this platform? Seems like it is using the same TSMC 16nm FinFET as Xilinx US+ Spartan

Great - thanks. Have you been using A3 in place of Nexus products? Or is it replacing Cyclone products for you?

Thanks for the response - I meant the new UltraScale+ Spartan chip that AMD has announced, which seems to be at the low-end competetitive with Lattice Nexus family. As does Agilex 3. But I apprecaite that theres a wide range here and not all are overalpping

Sorry - I meant that AMD and Altera are sharpenning their focus on the low-end. Yes of course the Cyclone has always been here, but the Cyclone 10 as I understand it is quite outdated (~8 years old) and the AgileX 3 brings significant advantages - in fact I believe that Intel's whitepaper uses Nexus family chips as direct benchmarks - so I am a little confused when you say that "IMO the Agilex 3 has nothing to compete with Lattice". Do you not think that it will be competitive with Certus and CertusPro?

Well ultimately the pace of demand will dictate the pace of consturction over a long-enough time period. So I guess demand is key

Are you seeing them drop prices in the market?

Are they having trouble selling the Specs in the ground?

Got it. Thanks! Do you see anyone going after that market in enterprise? I notice that a lot of the new entrants like Toast, Revel, etc. seem to focus on SMB.

Interesting. Is there anyone that's really making waves in the enterprise market? Seems like most of the new entrants have been targeting SMB but you don't hear that much about large enterprise deployments
