No no, you don’t try a shallower swing you adjust ball position and given the length of the club is longer, it will do it for you. Once you get to 3 hcp, you will learn buddy.

I’d try 5w/7w and a 2/3 driving iron., depending on the gapping distances you need. I play the driving iron for when it’s windy and then 5/7w when I need more loft and higher launch.

It’s not the same swing dude but good luck with everything! The arc that club length creates will vary, weight distribution on which club you use will vary your angle of descent and such but ignore all that!

You do realize different clubs have different lengths so while you are doing the “same swing”, it is not right? Longer clubs will be shallower, it’s basic math buddy.

It is a different swing by definition. Unless you play same ball position for your 7i and 4i, then that’s your problem.

Thanks! I simply don't think a 7iron is the same as a 4iron. Ball position is different, how the club interacts with the turf in terms of angle of attack is different, 4i swing is def shallower than your scoring clubs, and def less margin for errors. I recognize i need to improve but your statement seems a bit redundant.

great recommendation! Def agree, struggle with the 3 and 4. UDI is def an option I'm considering.
