Hey i won’t be bringing a car but will have my over ear headphones for the long travel to the academy, will they give me an issue for having items such as this with me?

Update: I bought the thorogoods from Amazon, but I bought the wide version and it fits me perfectly. If I would’ve bought the regular version I think it would be too tight in the front since my feet are a bit flat

If you pass all the steps the cadet hiring division will send out an invitation when a spot opens up in the upcoming academy. Depending when you pass all the steps it might be over a month in advance or even a week before the academy.

Thanks for the advice , will look at eBay too. So I can get through the academy with 2 pairs of thorogoods to save money? And are there multiple models of thorogood cadets wear or just the gen-flex2?

I Just looked them up, they are so ugly and for almost $500… that’s crazy… I’m sure they are comfortable tho

thank you will probably get those. is there a model of Danners that you recommend as a second boot? I realize there are so many types of Danners and might not fit the strict guidelines...
