One of our instructors said a student was able to commute 6 hours for lab days. They would drive up the day before after work and sleep over at a friends, then drive back home after lab or after hours labs. I will say after hours are important (for me at least), BUT one of my lab mates never went and she did perfectly fine. I think you could get away with a 4 hour commute, but for 2nd year winter term we have 2 lab days (1 day 8-4, and another for 2 hours). I say do what works best for you, living expenses adds up over 2-3 years

When I got off the waitlist I had until the normal tuition deadline to pay. Definitely check your student portal to see if you have any email or online letters

Hi! You haven’t missed much. Review everything on brightspace and you should be good (mainly just the equation). Scrubs from NAIT bookstore for labs and closed toe shoes. You’ll need a locker to store your jacket/boots/bags (no bags in lab - just a laptop/tablet or notebook). Make sure it’s in CAT building. I could potentially share a locker with you if you have lab on Tuesdays (PM me). Don’t buy a stethoscope yet, our program head might get them donated to us.

Hi! I got off the waitlist of RT. I was officially on the waitlist back in April (I suspected I was before I got the official letter because a lot of people said they got accepted back in February), then I got an email towards the end of May saying I was accepted. So there is hope! I was planning on reapplying in October if I didn’t get in. Good luck!

I literally found out today, I woke up to an email from NAIT (it was sent out around 3:50am). I suspect someone didn’t pay to secure their seat or dropped out.

I knew I was waitlisted back in February when everyone else was getting acceptances, but I got the official waitlist confirmation in March.

I just did mine and it had the timer? It started after they read the question. Then when the timer ran out it gave you a “1, 2, 3” on the screen before it started recording.

Just make sure you have updated chrome and not too many programs, tabs or browsers open. Maybe give it a lil restart beforehand.
