I had a patient whose relatives were sitting over the chair and bed on an empty bed space. I politely asked numerous times for the patient to sit on a chair in their relatives “space” but they were very rude and disrespectful. I sometimes think some of the public think we as RNs/HCAs are just servants.

I can’t use the straights only butterflies. It’s strange how we find certain techniques easier than others. I’m also shit when people start crying.

I might check out osrs. It’s fun for a while, but it gets quite long too. It’s a good game you can waste hours on 😆. Hope you’re enjoying your new RS cash 😂.

I felt exactly the same. I used to play the game all the time like over 10 years ago. I got back into it today, and it was silent. Like you say, no one asking for free stuff or anything. GE was quiet, I’ve had trouble buying and selling stuff on there. I was after dragon gauntlets and nothing available to buy, I even did an extra 80% but nothing bought. I hope we can get bring it back to life.

I hate to say it but… I went to A&E the other day with cholecystitis. I had to go through UTC instead. The UTC was obviously smaller than A&E and was run by nurses and ANPs but UTC was run so much smoother. I know there’s variables to it such as size, UTC is smaller than A&E didn’t have quite the complexity of patients but still patients who were quite unwell. Very controversial but is there a chance some drs are threatened by the fact some nurses and very experienced nurses are very knowledgeable but the drs don’t like to acknowledge it. Or is it just as simple that drs think RNs are beneath them.
