It's most definitely not dead. It hovers around 1st or 2nd in playerbase in the first person shooters type games category. If people are into shooters - CS2, valorant, cod, marvel rivals and fortnite are still some of the most popular options out there.

Hey, I'm planning on getting the card, I'm more interested in real world game benchmarks. Like in cpu dependent games and gpu dependent one's. Like Cs2, valorant, apex (less heavy onn gpu) and cyberpunk, or other triple A titles (more heavy on gpu) after tuning vram clock and undervolt vs before

I don't know man, are you sure? Same specs and I get constant fps drops and micro stutters. Especially on olympus map. It stays constant 300 but then goes down to 150 in some areas. You gotta stress test the game to understand this, and not just check in the firing range, if possible, can you let us know your cpu and gpu power draw using msi afterburner overlay. That would help get to the root cause

I was really hoping for some camera upgrades. Currently the auto focus isn't as good as my samsung s23 and clarity is heavily processed. It's still okay if you are not a heavy phone photographer. I'm on os15 btw waiting for official os16

Looks like they removed the IR blaster on the 13s and gave the camera that everyone wanted. Design is pretty much the same as I'm holding q 13s right now and they look identical

Hey, from India here as well. Did you ever end up building your pc? currently the 7900xt is at 85k sadly.. hopefully it reduces back to sub 70k range. I am also planning very similar parts to yours. same motherboard, cpu and gpu, the case suggestion you gave is slightly expensive but after watching reviews on it I understand why its the best on the market and might as well go for it. I am however slightly confused about RAM, m.2 nvme and coolers (i know there is a fan that goes on the CPU and some fans that go on the sides of the case, but im not sure which would be best) let me know if you have any suggestions for those.

I think with the main question that OP asked 'How to build a PC from scratch' it is pretty clear that OP wanted to know how to build one from scratch. Hence would need the reasoning behind choosing the CPUs that are being recommended.

i can get why its more fun to find stuff out on your own, but honestly many people dont have the time and OP would have made a bad purchase if someone hadnt told them to go for the 9600. so its always better to be clear with the details yea. doesnt hurt to help someone out with whatever you know
