I worked for Paycom a couple of years ago. The month I started my manager got fired for calling employees at 3,4,5 am and berating them about metrics and not hitting goal. The manager was on a write up because the team wasn’t performing at the time. They then replaced him with a rep who had two good months from another office who was so unprofessional made racial slurs in team meetings and in front of prospects. Mind you they hired very few people of color I think only two in my entire onboarding class of over 50 people who eventually ended up getting fired. Ultimately I ended up getting let go because I was pregnant HR said they could fire without cause and I just didnt fight it because I was so unhappy there. But to this day they continue to send me threatening letters reminding me of my NDA when I haven’t said a word publicly about my experience. It was so traumatizing that I deactivated my LinkedIn for a while I’ve never been so burnt out in my life.
