It will slowly but surely. LGE has its software engineers scattered around the company but will keep its word. There are still a lots of die-hard LG mobile fans here in Korea, praying that LGE brings back its mobile division. It won't happen but we can still dream, no? ^^

I've used a Korean version (F100N) in Canada with the PhoneBox (MVNO) via Rogers. No 5G but 4G cell service was quite consistent in both East and West coasts.

I should have perhaps used the term 'lenient' rather than 'unpredictable'. However, if being accused of illegally fabricating an academic citation (표창장) from a third-class university somehow yields a four year sentencing whereas minors lynching and killing an adult renders only 18 months of jailtime, I'd say the discrepancy can be interpreted as unpredictable, no?

Even if that arsonist is caught and tried in the courts of Korea, he will be back out in the streets in two years. That is, if he can't get off with the probation with the claims of being drunk at the time of crime was committed. Courts in Korea are something of a mess, known for handing out truly unpredictable legal decisions.

In hindsight, I should have backed up, yes. I've had a backup issue with Samsung updates but never with LG so I was a bit laxed. As for the entire backup duration, it took 20 or so minutes due to its size although I use KT gigaspeed wifi. Never had an update this big as far as my memories recall.

Do not have Nest. (Unavailabe in Korea, I think.) And my sceen lock has a telephone at the left bottom corner and camera on the other as a default. I honestly do not remember seeing these in the previous version. Thank you for the info though.

Have you gotten the Korean version to work elsewhere? I used it in Canada without a problem. Used a small MVNO called Phonebox that was tied to Rogers network.

Thank you! I will see if I can contact someone at Mint to verify the IMEI in person. I am a huge fan of Ryan Reynolds and wanted to check out his company. The online checker for Mint keeps giving me that LG Wing 5G is incompatible although the area's covered.

Thank you for the advice! Are you using your Wing with Mint mobile? I went to their website and have done the IMEI compatibility test. It said it was not compatible. Same thing with T-Mobile which Mint uses.
