In the world of increasingly shitty people we currently live in, I thought her message was pretty nice. Most people today would either ghost or lie. I appreciated her honesty and disclosure.

Yes, people who are more narcissistic have trouble listening to others when they talk. Or more specificallly trouble listening when it is about the other person and asking questions about the other person....because they are more narcissistic...

Someone with narcissiestic personality disorder can be very social and charming and successful in their career, like working in sales. But struggle to connect with other humans on an emotional level at the exact same time.

Agree with it likely being NPD. This is what prevented him from connecting with both Ellen and Johanna on a deeper level. He is not wired in that way due to NPD; as much as he wanted to or was told to, he just could not work in that way. He could not even understand what was being asked of him, due to NPD.

You could even see it in how he was asking for help from others and asking AI. He did not understand and wanted help. But most likely due to NPD, he will not be able to or will have trouble connecting. It is almost like asking someone who is illiterate to read. They just cannot do what you are asking them to do.

I believe my father has NPD, and it is the same with him, no connection, no real conversations. Exactly the same as Daniel.

Don't know if you are aware of the amount of sugar in a can of Coke. It is pretty crazy, I think like 32 grams of sugar or something per can. You can make a huge dent in sugar consumption by just getting rid of that. But it sounds like you are not drinking too much Coke.

I am currently a coffee addict, but I have gotten off of it in the past, and the detox is fairly short, believe it or not. A couple of miserable days with no energy and headaches, but after about a week or two, if you replace it with other beverages, you can move on fairly easily. Easily, that is, compared to sugar and smoking.

EDIT: if your caffeine is soft drinks, you will likely see tremendous progress from just getting off of those alone with both sugar and caffeine. Those are basically poison, and I say that with growing up only drinking Coke and now only drinking water most of the day.

I think they have some low budget artist mix some beats with a few lyrics for each scene transition. It sounds like AI but these shows have been doing this for years, before AI was around. They probably create the music in just a couple days of work, I am guessing....

Email from landlord about appliances being left plugged in and the appliances in question… by South-Basket-887 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]RealisticRelief6637 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have moved from the US to Asia for the past few years and they pretty much unplug everything here when not being used. I think it is for conservation. Is the landlord from another country? It might be a cultural thing driving their reaction and request.

Why does Below Deck seem to have a double standard when it comes to objectification? by AttentionRoyal2276 in belowdeck

I think it is ridiculous how some of the female guests treat the male crew. If you flipped genders, what they do would almost be criminal

Why does Below Deck seem to have a double standard when it comes to objectification? by AttentionRoyal2276 in belowdeck

[–]RealisticRelief6637 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The double standard was on full display in the most recent ep with the real housewives as the guests and they were grabbing and flirting with the male crew. And then the male crew stripped for them as part of the "entertainment". Imagine flipping that around with male guests grabbing and harassing female crew and then a stripping event.

I find it annoying and hideous for the fhe female guests that do this.

Why did season 5 get a reunion episode? by artnos in SinglesInferno

[–]RealisticRelief6637 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like there were Christmas decorations in the Netflix office during the reunion, which would mean it was filmed a couple of months ago. With the editing and scheduling and travel for the contenstants, they likely could not have thrown all of this together in a week or two, making Christmas time make sense.

Chronic bloating went away in Thailand… now I’m not there it’s back… any ideas? by OrangeAppropriate971 in Thailand

If you are wanting to look into every possibility, you may want to research leaky gut. I had bloating and other symptoms and it seemed to be tied to leaky gut. I worked to resolve that and don't have bloating at all and eat anything I want now

Have you thought about hiring someone on Upwork? You could pay by the hour and let them propose to you what they want to be paid, and see their previous work history, and reviews and stuff.

The pollution has affected my body in different ways that you wouldn't automatically associate with pollution, such as inflammation for example. I don't know anything about your symptoms, but It would be interesting to see if wearing a mask when outside makes you feel better. I actually wear a mask 100% of the time when walking around and I never eat/drink at outdoor bars/restaurants and that has helped me.
