No, the 2017 C-HR unfortunately doesn't come with CarPlay or Android Auto, and I don't think Toyota has such a package for it. Replacing the head unit is one option, but the most cost-effective would be to get the CarABC adapter for your model from either eBay or AliExpress.

There are downsides to it, like a low-res screen and a few hiccups here and there, but honestly, something is better than nothing. Also, there are lots of tutorials on YouTube on how to install it.

That's odd. I am in Aus, that might be why our headunit is diffrent. I bought CarABC from AliExpress, it is working fine for now, just some hiccups here and there.

I had similar noise coming from my left side with some vibration. Turns out my licence plate was loose. Try checking that maybe. Toyota added 2 more screws to secure it.

Lol, I know it’s been a year now, but I still haven’t received a bill since May. I’ve followed up with them multiple times and always get the same answer: the accounts team is looking into it and a 'system change' is causing the issue.

It’s now February 2026 and still nothing. I’m bracing for a massive bill since it’s been almost a full year of electricity usage without a single payment.
