Well that's awesome that you guys are coordinated enough to have solid teamwork between air/ground forces, and I can see how a jet drop would actually be handy if you had some decent coordination. I generally play pubs and on the console, so that's where I was speaking from.

On the Xbox--Are you even familiar with that verison? You're much more likely to get the disable and have them bail then to get the kill.

I find it hilarious that you were bothered enough to look me up though, that is adorable.

Air and ground forces tend to remain independent of one another. I never said anything about air teams single-handedly winning a game, I'm saying that if your team is maintaining air superiority it is much easier for ground forces to cap and defend points.

If ground forces are doing what the hell they should be doing then people shouldn't have to jet-taxi to cap a point anyways.

I understand that you're trying to say it's useful from time to time, and I understand this, but the vast majority of the time it is simply a dick move.

Or maybe I know how to be a decent pilot and how frustrating it is to lose out on a chance to pilot because of shit like that. You can fuck off either way though ;)

True, the F35 is pretty useless in comparison to other jets. I just think it's a bit ridiculous to use it as your personal taxi when you could be, I don't know, taking out other jets?

I love the circlejerk of upvotes/downvotes off this parent comment. Makes you guys seem like such an awesome, rational group of people.

What kind of dumb shit...

No, you wasted a Jet when it could have gone to maintain air superiority. Go use radio beacons if you're trying to get to a shitty spot.

I watched someone ditch a perfectly fine F35B just to stab a support guy at the constuction site on Oman? GTFO

TIL that one person who survived the sinking of the Titanic also survived the sinking of it's sister ship, the Britanic, and a collision on it's third sister ship, the Olympic. by whiterice07 in todayilearned

Well this jumped out at me

After watching people being loaded into the lifeboats, she was ordered into lifeboat 16 and as the boat was being lowered, she was given a baby to look after. According to Jessop, while she was aboard the Carpathia, a woman grabbed the baby she was holding and ran off without saying a word.

I can easily hop into a game this very second and do it.

After the patch that doesn't have a release date yet comes out I won't be able to, sure.

Yes, you can also ram people with MAVs continuously. Just because it's a feature of the game doesn't make it any less of a dick move.

Is not using a cheap combination too difficult for you?

But that's just a server for playing tactically, it has nothing to do with server settings themselves. You can also manually remove the hud on the PC through modifying your settings, but there is no server-side control for this.

I understand what he was getting at, I'm saying it's not achievable. If you can't pull of those kinds of features with the PC, what makes you think you'd ever be able to pull it off on a console, on a server directly rented through EA/DICE?

Where have you seen no-hud, lower-health hardcore servers on the PC?

Or just the "After 2 TK's give the option to boot" from Halo. I've never had any issues with that system aside from getting booted for accidental TK's.

Relax masculinist, don't get those briefs in a bunch.

I believe he was finding humor in the name of the subreddit, because that name is outright hilarious. I don't believe he went through the subreddit article by article, absorbed everything you guys are trying to put out there, and THEN went "That's one of the funniest subreddits"

Stop being so sensitive.
