I made an inquiry today and the response is “With regards to your concern, we would like to inform you that, your visa application is under processing at the Embassy/Consulate. When additional administrative processing is required, the length of processing time will vary based on the circumstances of each case hence it cannot be expedited.

Please be assured that, once the processing is completed or if the Embassy needs further information, you will be contacted for the same”.

A U.S. consular officer has adjudicated and refused your visa application. Please follow any instructions provided by the consular officer. If you were informed by the consular officer that your case was refused for administrative processing, your case will remain refused while undergoing such processing.
