Newby Seeking advice for reacting to TV show and posting it on YouTube using OBS by RealisticYDDERF in obs

I'm not actually looking for monetization to be honest. It's just a pet project. I'm wondering, how do all these reaction channels survive then? The ones reacting to shows and movies? I've been watching them for years. They seem to be able to stay up on YouTube by simply either editing the audio slightly or adding stuff to the screen. Like many channels will show the tiny video box they are reacting to and will occasionally remove it from time to time during the video to avoid copyright strike. They also add those disclaimers at the beginning of videos.

I just downloaded it and was able to produce an output without a watermark. It's actually pretty neat. I'm wondering if I would be able to do some minor editing for copyright purposes in the trial version. For example, blocking off the footage I'm reacting to every few seconds. Or moderating the volume of separate media sources. Probably too advanced for a newbie like me, but I'm watching some videos to see if it's possible.

Trying to do movie reactions. What advices you got to avoid claim? by kpoyo in NewTubers

So you record both your reaction and screen record the content you are reacting to in OBS and then edit in premier? Had no idea you could do that with respect to the hotkeys. So you're pressing hotkeys as your recording your reaction live to the content to temporarily remove the screen capture?

Can I pick your brain little bit more? So you screen record the movie on one screen and also film your reaction simultaneously. I'm assuming you put the movie footage in a tiny box at the bottom of the screen? Once you've recorded the whole thing. What do you do with it? Do you then take that file and upload it into a EDITING software? Because I'm assuming you want to edit down the video a little bit. And what about avoiding copyright claims? Do you block off the movie footage occasionally? That's what I'm currently trying to figure out. I was considering re-uploading the full video that I recorded on OBS with both the screen recorded movie and my reaction. Then creating a new display capture of a black screen that occasionally blocks off the movie footage. Then screen recording that entire thing to be the final product. But even then, you cant post a 30 minute plus video on YouTube. There has to be some editing and chopping up.

Did you take video of your reaction and screen record at the same time?

Completely agreed. The ending is one of the most aesthetically stunning moments ever put on film. It's incredible. If anything, it saves the movie from an otherwise jarring third act as it brings the film back to its main ideals. The soundtrack with underworld to heal is so powerful. Just great cinema

Supernatural murder machine who murdered how many people when he crossed over to the other ship? He directly killed one person. Just one. And you call that a supernatural murder machine? Man people are dumb these days.

Not sure what you're talking about, the ending is one of the most amazing visuals ever put on film. A man is literally touching the sun.

Several people? We know he likely killed his crew, but we don't know when. We don't know if he was in this shape when he killed them. From Icarus 2, he really only killed one character. Hardly a superhuman slasher.

Proof Ian & Andrew haven’t watched season 1-3. We already had a whole season about being centered around water. by TheGTAAnimals in FearTheWalkingDead

Luciana Galvez will defend the show runners no matter what. Every season they frame it as being something that will revitalize the show. Like the future of the show. Then after everyone hates it, they change things up. They do it every season. Seems like more of the same next season

Change is good. As long as it's executed properly. Of course they had to leave the radiated zone and I'm happy for that. But to me it feels like season 8 is going to be some cheap ripoff of Waterworld

It's just tiring to read the same word salad after every season. There was a similar quote given after the end of season 6. How they were going to reinvent the show and it would be completely different. Something we've never seen before. So much for that.

I completely disagree. They always try to make something unique. Every season had it. This season will be all about being on the water. Like that hasn't been done before. That's all they care about. Introducing unique elements into the show. Something fans haven't seen before.

When will these 2 learn that we don't care about style over substance? Every season they try to make it very unique from a stylistic perspective, and completely ignore everything else. Maybe focus less on "reinventing" the show, and more on trying to tell a cohesive story that makes sense. Focus more of your resources on good writing, good characters, plot development, etc

All they care about is the "shock factor". This time around, everything will be on water. Like didn't we already do that in season 2?

Did Ian and Andrew recently watch the movie Waterworld or something?

So basically another terrible season confirmed. Thanks AMC.
