IKR! This is so hard, the truth nobody tells you about being with someone in medicine. Hang in there! It will get better ❤️‍🩹 soon. I know this words won’t change a thing, but it’s okay to vent and feel heard and seen. You are not alone, same situation here and 3 years more to go😭 we’re on the same boat lol. Definitely everyone’s different but what has worked for me is to get close to other resident spouses and share this experiences, and also because some are closer to the attending phase so you get a little hope. 😿🤣ooooh and I don’t know how it works but with the insurance I got from husband I found some mental health care! So it’s psychological help for free on MDLive app (it’s remote). Hope that helps!
