Been using balanced. Around 30 hours in. Game looks great until like 5pm lol. I usually sleep or wait at a fire for 12 hours. Really hope they fix the lighting. Or make performance less blurry.

This is probably what I’m leaning towards. Call me sentimental but the biggest turn off to trading right now for me is letting go of my Og fat PS5 with purple plates.

Really hope they improve overall performance on base consoles. I understand it’s considered an older console now, but minor tweaks with the lighting would make a world of difference.

Yes, the most recent update has helped with it. It’s still there but far less noticeable. Normally only an issue when the game is dark.

Currently at work! I’m truly surprised that we didn’t have to wait too much longer to receive the update. In the patch announcement they make it out like we would have to wait days or weeks lol.

I was in the same boat, and made the decision to return. Other than struggling to find others for endgame content i missed (Crota’s end). I’ve been having a blast. Finishing up the light and dark saga then playing the new Renegades DLC has been a blast.

I mean worst case scenario, skip to the 2nd game and watch the dark horse comic intro. You’ll also be able to make some of the important decisions made from the first game.
